say good bye to us, hrithik. We low Indi cine-goers can't tolerate your hi-fi, emotional dramatic characterization. Better go for Hollywood where you get recognised
4. poor photography (dont mistake this with locales)
5. Kangana was wasted when she could have been used much better.
6. We have seen these story lines several times and some of the jokes like MY ULLU KI PATTHI HOON are worn out jokes.
7. Hrithik was made to strip and exploited like a male version of Bo Derek which is not necessary.
8. Barbara Mori is good
9. One good thing about the film is its slow but constant tempo which is a little refreshing now a days.
10. The director Anurag Basu fell between the two stools of slow aesthetic beautiful romantic version and a fast action oriented one. He could do justice to neither.
11. Had Kangana was used to the fullest the film could have been more gripping. Kangana had both beauty and intense acting abilities.
MNIK and now Kites. Multi-million dollar budgets, stylish clothes, great songs and unrealistic storylines. Anyone who has lived in the US for even 1 month can spot the huge crater like errors. Whether it is going from Frisco to DC via Georgia in MNIK?! Or killing people in full view of the cops, as Tony does in Kites...it just doesn't happen in the US. I'm sorry, I just can't buy the idea that these directors and scriptwriters can't bother to research something which every person in the US knows. Just 2 simple errors will explain: 1) When J and Mori are in a car and a cop asks them to pull over, they SPEED UP. And they haven't done anything yet. Nobody I know in the US (unless he has committed some murder) will not obey a patrol car on your tail asking you to stop. It is unthinkable. 2) J pulls the Green card scam by asking each woman for 1000 USD. 1000 USD? For a Green Card? Do the film writers know how coveted the GC is? And how many illegal immigrants in US would kill to get it? And its available for 1000 USD? Which anyone can earn working illegaly in the US for 15 days? All I can say, is research, research and research. Thank you

Indian film makers never care about factual correctness...so why bother?
In Baghban, people celebrated Valentine's Day (Feb) and Karwa Chauth (Nov) in sequence within 6 months of Holi (March)....so golden rule, in Indian films, never care about factual correctness...
