Haven't yet watched Kites, but I'm going to, regardless of the reviews. I always knew it wouldn't do well in India, 'cuz the language, the basic premise of the film....it was not for the average Indian viewer. For the people whose idea of 'good actress' is Katrina Kaif, and 'good humor' is Atithi tum kab jaaoge, Kites is not the movie to go to. But I like different movies; for eg, I enjoyed Rocket Singh immensely. So I think I might like Kites. Even if I don't, I'll still watch it for Hrithik the hunk. :-)

Spoken as a true fan ! I was hoping the movie was good. Hrithik waited too long to make this movie....he should make at least one a year.
I am not a huge Hrithik fan but I will watch it on DVD.

True..I was in Delhi earlier, and was shocked to hear the people talk about Katrina, Akshay kumar etc as GREAT actors!!! surely these people havent seen true actors...
