People, especially Hrithik's fan and few others are making concious effort to showcase this movie in a bright picture. Comments like why khan only or this is the best movie or Raja Sen B.....
The truth is that the movie is average. It's neither a good love story nor a good visual treat.
This things may happen with an actor like Hrithik. Even though Hrithik is fantastic here as well.

jodha akbar was a headache...although investment and allied work was good..dhoom2 too was simialr..climax was let down..predictable story..notthe question of roshan's fan but this deserves some more stars.
It reeks of premeditated ploy to target Hrithik's major release by all Media and critics.....come on...if Badmash company is given 4 star ratings inspite of its flaws...why not Kites. & nbsp; Roshans are those who do not butter-up to Media circles unlike others...they are literally on some actors pay-roll. &nbs p; &nb sp; Way to go Hrithik, Iam sure every fan is waiting to see your movie and we know you are the true reigning superstar.

The truth is that even u dont know how to deal with media and whats the trend going on in the industry.
The fact known here that u r the big fan of Hrithik and u r angry upon critis giving low star to this movie.
Dont forget that Jodha Akbar and Dhoom2 has gor 4 star because they were good movies. Kites desrve 2 star only and for Hrithik fans 3 star.

Could any one please tell me the reason that why ONLY "KHANS" movies become HIT and other heroes film do average business, even doing lot of hype and promotions.

It is Khans personality and good scrpit of the films and wide thinking,choice waise Roshan's are only think about themselves.

The Most number of Hits in last 10 years are given by Akshay...so how can u say that...have u forgot back to back...Phir hera Pheri, Welcome, Bhool Bhulaiya, hey baby,etc
the first thing that came to my mind when the movie finished was: where the hell was the story. sample this: two people from different backgrounds fall in love, run away from their respective fiance/fiancee, and well... keep running
on the plus side, Hritik acts well and looks drop dead gorgeous.. with all the premiers going in cannes and other places, I hope he gets noticed by a prominent Hollywood figure. action scenes were brilliant and the dance sequence in the beginning was awesome.
audience reaction where I watched it was largely negative, where people started laughing in the end (unintentional on the director's part).. and people making calls to their friends after the show that, 'galti se bhi mat dekhna"!
