Blade Runner
Like watching a short soap opear
by Blade Runner on Jun 01, 2010 06:25 PM

Here is a simple review by NY Times:

"It’s all completely loony, but the stunts are impressive, the photography crisp and the leads so adorably besotted that audiences might as well check their cynicism at the door"
"A shorter version of the film (retooled by Brett Ratner) will be released next Friday, but Mr. Roshan requires viewing uncut"

Other than what the reviewer said above, it is like a B-grade movie and not worth any more detailed evaluations/reviews of story, direction etc.....it is only upto someone whether you enjoy a movie like this or not, and of course whether or not you want to spend $20 for the tickets. You can choose either way and you will be right.

I am sure Mr. Sen knows that, and I don't understand why he went into an in-depth review, like reviewing "Gladiator" or "Troy" or "Kaminey".

In my opinion, watching this movie is like watching a short soap opera. Enjoy the beautiful moments, admire how beautiful human beings can be and relax. It's noteworthy and more than worth watching. It is not garbage like Salmaan's "Wanted" or Akshay's "Blue".

Kites v/s 3 idiots
by Michael on May 31, 2010 07:40 PM

The satellite rights of Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots, which released in December, have been picked up by Sony for a whopping Rs 35 crore for 50 airings over five years.

And the rights to air last week's release Kites have been sold to Colors for a rumoured price of Rs 20 crore. Buzz is that these rights were sold even before the film's release.

Kites is good movie
by Ramkrishna Patil on May 29, 2010 02:52 PM

Very much good movie. I know everybody has there own views to everything, but I can smell the biased views from Indian reports for this movie. Is it due to Hritik's fallout with media at Shirdi?
Simple story and avesome performance by Hritik makes this one beleivable and watchable.
Go and watch the movie, dont believe in the reviews of others ......

If you are in love watch this movie
by Girdhari Deepchandani on May 26, 2010 09:49 PM

Awesome movie, shows the spirit of an ordinary Indian who wants to live life to the fullest, with love in his heart, ready to face all odds, to be with his love ..." IN LIFE AND IN DEATH "...Soulful watch...Recommended for all lovers...
Overseas the movie at the box office will do better, by every passing day ,and will be highest earner among bollywood movies of all time. >>>>>...But in India it will not do well because of subtitles and also as Spanish language is not translated into Hindi
