I watched Kites and its good movie..After 3 idiots movie came everyone expects movie to have hostel life, college, silly jokes... Everyone has forgotten what a serious movie all about... I loved 3 Idiots..but this movie deserves 3 stars.. These reviewers were fake..they write gud reviews when they are paid by producers.....For My name is khan he gave 3 stars which was greatest flop in Indian history...

i couldnt agree more with your view. MNIK - actually one can't sit through the entire version of the movie with shah rukh khan having some syndrome. this movie is way above all stupid films going around the theatres now. Watch it !!

Housefull is also a blockbuster. may overtake the earnings of MNIK in India.

No, Housefull is sitting at 68 Crores and max it can add 2 Cores which will give it a Max of 70 Crores Net, MNIK has 74 Crores Net.

not sure abt MNIK...it was also a very costly film like Kites so despite the publicity, I think it hasn't made much profit...
Kites is a brave experiment to penetrate west audience beyond NRI's. Normally Hollywood movies also don't have any stories only stunning stunts scenes, cinematography and special effects makes movie Hit. Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori is impressive. Very good effort as compare Hollywood Movies. 1. Shrek Forever - No Story only Animation 2. Iron Man 2 - No Story only superhero fighting with evils.

if u din't get the humor of Iron Man 2 thts ur shortcoming not the film's...
In spite of bad review out after the release I still went to watch this movie on Monday. This movie is not meant for the typical bollywood audiences. So far my personal opinion is concern this is one of the best movie proudly said Bollywood movie I have ever seen in my entire life. Nothing goes wrong this movie start and end up with breathtaking experience. One shot in this movie Barbra says to Ritik I don’t know you came from the which corner of this world but what I know is whatever life I am going to leave from now ..…one year….one day or one minute I want to leave with you…..I love this….
In today’s scenario where we falling for the movies which is based on the one night stand or love less points. I personally feel this one is benchmark…I viewer its was a great pleasure watching Riktik-Barbara chemistry which is unseen specially in bollywood movies due to the same old actors.
I love this movie it touch my sole and know one can rate this movie……Paisa Wasool.
i sincerely believe that he's one of the finest talents in india but in recent times his choice of films has not exactly catered to the indian audiences. out here in india we love watching the over the top krrish,KMG and dhoom2 sorta stuff but some experimental stuff like jodha akbar and kites has not gone down too well with the audiences. what say guys?
The collections of Kites came down heavily on Monday. This was expected as the film has been rejected by the public.
The four day nett business is around 33 crore nett. This includes paid previews. The first week will struggle to touch 40 crore nett and is likely to finish around the 39 crore nett mark.
Overall the film is likely to have 21.50 crore plus distributor share in week one but may not even touch 25 crore in its lifetime business which would mean flop Indian theatrical business for Kites.
Regrdless of being a hrithik fan or not,kites is just a boring movie and u guys hav to be honest not hide behind the veil nd gush evrytime hrithik comes on screen.
Pls,i ask is the MOVIE good and evry1 says watch it for hrithik,he is this and he is that. I wudn't give a damn if sum kids nd their mom's like sesame street nd tell me to watch it b.c it brings ur childhood back. Likewise,i'm annoyed they tell me to watch it b.c it brings your knees to the ground whn u watch hrithik in this movie.
Simple question,is the MOVIE good or bad. Story has to be there,goin all the way to the theatre nd end up sitting nd watching a movie should be damn good. Otherwise,you cn sit at home nd watch t.v wher you can watch different story in evry episode for years.
Whn u make a movie,ur showin us the characters and their lives fr 1,2or 3 hours straight. It shuld be worth sitting down for tht much time. Kites is waste of time. Hrithik's sisters,brothers,lady nd male fans,mummy nd daddy can cajole me abusing me to watch the movie. Bt tht fanatic behavior is not goin to work,excpt for ur precious 2 hours.
Guys, I am in US and watched the evening show of KITES. Not only Indians but plenty of AMERICANS too were visibly excited and happy about movie. While having coffee outside theatre 2 couples joined me and my husband and said your BOLLYWOOD actor is better than any of HOLLYWOOD one. They liked movie very much and Hritik and Barbara too.
It's very good movie, don't beleive below comments, movie is really pulling very good crowd here and same reports I got from other part of US through my friends as well.
GO FOR THIS MOVIE, MISSING IT WILL BE FOOLISHNESS. IT'S 100 TIMES BETTER THAN MNIK.

This is disasterious movie. No one has liked it. It will not be able to make 50 crore business even. The biggest flop of the year.
For this movie Hrithik has wasted 2 years. What a shame.
