Congrats Vasantha Balan for making a movie like this. It takes immense courage to show the plight of workers at this level. It is heavy and intense. Anjali is a fine actress, as she had already proved in Kattradhu Tamil. I just hope she finds suitable roles to continue her success.
Every character in the movie has a beautiful effect to the movie. The girl who acted as Rani was wonderful. Her dialogue delivery, when her lover pretends not be in love with her, is wonderful. It just hurts to watch her.
A plea to everybody, please support movies like this. They are needed to make movies that would create social awareness.

You can openly say it is Saravana Stores. The director didn't really try to hide it.

that's not a solution sushagar. Government should take any steps for the betterment of employees. Atleast they should be treated as human beings.

Not a valid reason. When the movie's promos and trailers came out, everyone knew that this was going to be a realistic film where the eye for detail is going to be big. Its your mistake if you didnt know that. And seems like you have been living in a world where you have not seen such things, that when you see it, it makes you feel uneasy and vomit. Cinema is not always something that you love to see. It is a visual image of what happens in real life, what could happen in real life, etc.
its worth watching this movie..provides taste of real life...hero of t movie is the story and kudos to marimuthu and anjali ...vijay and ajith should hang themselves for doing cowardly films like vettaikaran and asal..

What social charity ...? For distributing briyani food during the fast to support Srilankan Tamils? or for acting in films like Vettaikaran, Kuruvi etc. ..? Nalla samuthaaya sevaiyappa. Vijay & Ajith should get out of Tamil cinema.
Yes! It's worth it. After some hangover Tamil Cinema is waking up slowly. This time the stakes are very High. Vasantha Balan can be awarded anthing but the highest Movie Award for his idea. All the actors have done justice to their role and at the end you can be sure that all of them leave a foot print in your mind when you come come of the movie hall.Thats for sure.
