Yea.. really nice movie.. Of-course all the SARAVANA store employees and other MULTI STOREY building sales counter person's are treating in this way only. i was interacted a long year back with one sales guy in saravana store.. he says the same.. Vasantha balan proved once again.. Salute for you man.. 1000 times better than VTV.. Screen play was soo good..

Well said, VTV cant be compared to this masterpiece. The only good part of VTV was the last twist (climax) and the music but not visually the choreography was horrible as usual is the case with all gautam movies. The firangi dancers were repeating the same steps in all the songs. Heard that VTV is a superhit but could not understand how. The movie was too bland. The director was promoting kerela (cinematography was great & allepey was awesome) rather than executing interesting scenes. Basically the movie was as confusing as trisha's character!!!. I hope AT becomes a bigger hit than VTV as the unit of AT deserve all appreciation & accolades. If the critics were raving about simbu & trisha's acting then the acting of each and every artist in AT is way better than those two. VTV was like watching tele serial (not weekly but daily soap). Angadi theru is a cult classic (realistic but still entertaining with good comedy and emotional scenes) and should be a bigger hit than VTV.

agreed to every word...VTV is one useless movie.can't stand near to this masterpiece.
It was like watching a Madhur Bandarkar film in Tamil- raw, realistic and disturbing! The violence against girls working in the stores is a bit exaggerated.Normally girls from Nellai district, however poor, do not take such abuse lying down. In the name of being realistic, the film gets a little noisy. But very different from the mdiocre fare that Tamilcinema is known for
I have already watched this movie thrice, its a very realistic movie with great comedy, script, songs and msg. Even though the movie had many sad moments in the second half there was never a dull moment or unnecessary scenes. Hats off to director. He has extracted top performances from all the artists even though most of them were newcomers. But a special appreciation should be given to the actress (Anjali) and pandi (heroe's friend) they have made the movie memorable. Hope the actress gets to act in more movie's as she is way better than the north indian imports !!! the mannerisms, slang and the expressions were top notch. Director's like vasant, Ameer, bala, selevaragavan should be applauded for the kind of quality movies that they are making. This movie is way better than vinnaithandi varuvaaya (ok) and movies like vettaikaran, asal (total craps). This movie would be a cult classic as director's earlier venture veyyil. Everyone needs to watch this movie and encourage these kind of movies in future for the betterment of tamil movie industry.

yep, exactly... VTV is over rated.. AT is soo nice piece from vasantha balan.. once again good director.
Yday i watched this movie.I couldnt resist myself from puting this comment. This is a must watch undoubtedly classic.Tamil films are going high and high.I came out of the theatre with tears in my eyes.The heroine is a gift to tamil film industry and hero is not bad too.From today i decided i will not ignore roadside sellers anymore.....

Hi viewers...This is a fantastic and a must-watch movie sculptured by director.Vasantha Balan. He is really a dare man to make films with new faces and make them hit. This happens because, his stories are good. I could frankly say that, only few films really have meaningful stories and this is one among them. I BET YOU WOULD SHED TEARS after the movie... This teaches us the meaning for true love and how people in the slums really are.....Pls don't miss such a beautiful film... Really comic too... All kind of feelings are brought out in this film...This is the way of a good filmmaker...!

Film travels on its own vision.IT transforms the feeling what it was trying to tell.Very distrubbing one.All the small charecters made a mark in their short screen presence.Love u vasantha balan for your brave attempt with a strong execution capability.You have done it.
