I dont know why ppl pour wrong comments on the movie. Hindi version is good and tamil version is excellent. Kudos to the entire team!!! The story is well known but the way its told seems different and the stunning visuals of nature and music keeps you mum.

That is why Vikram is complaining of shoulder pain from last two days!! Check Indian express newspaper where it is reported that doctors have advised two weeks of rest to Vikram
There are some here praising the movie sky high with illogical comments such as...Ash had to change clothes twice, act twice, beautiful scenery...blah blah stuff..... Is it the movie goer's problem if Mani takes just one heroine for 2 movies and shoots twice...we care two hoots abt it....and any movie shot in a good location will be beautiful... A movie first and foremost shud have a story...this raavanan has none...And on top of it all Mani expects people to judge two great characters in mythology within a 14 day time period without giving any dimesions to those characters within that time frame.....beats viewer's intelligence..
A word for actors - please dont come and beg us saying that u changed clothes, acted in tough terrains, language was difficult...are we customers doing the same...FYI even we have inflation, family, etc..to spend money for...at this rate u will beat the indian politicians in tickets canvassing...
MANI - I know u have had a heart attack...et all...so u take rest first and come back with a better story after a year or so...hope by then Ash wud have retired and won't bother u to make movie for her family..and u wud have re-chared urself as well....

Thank god... Atleast there are people like you to judge a movie.....Otherwise I cant imagine the quality of tamil movies in the coming years. Only becoz comments as your Film makers will start realizing their folly..

Mani Ratnam is doing disservice to himself by associating with A.Rai and Abishek. The two simply cannot act. When does he realize it. This nepotism has to stop.

Really its very difficult to shoot the same simultaneously. All the scenes has to be re-shoot once finished in one language.. Aish done twice everything where as vikram change his costume, performance, body language in two different characters which is appreciable.

No as vidhya said.. Raavan is great movie in-terms tamil version.. Still we needs to check it out the AB's performance in hindi.. VIDHYTA is right about her comments.
