This is the same guy who manipulated the national awards in favour of his protege Ajay Devgan. Such people do not deserve any attention. And his direction is nothing compared to Mani Ratnam. Same old politics, kidnapping story based in Hindi heartland.

Can't you ever make a comment without getting personal?
If you are honest with yourself, you should know the story behind Ajay Devgan's national award.
Ajay Devgan is nothing i repeat nothing compared to SRK who is a global entertainment superstar...Devgan has long opted himself out of the rat race after giving up.

National awards are not given on "GLOBAL ENTERTAINMENT SUPERSTAR"...it is given on a more elementary level..something called acting...

Dude..be fair...in 2004 SRK deserved it for Swades but the award was manipulated by censor board chief Sharmila Tagore in favour of her son for crap role in crap movie Hum Tum...you are talking as if national awards are fair...in fact they have always been in the news for manipulations of jury members....
as far as acting is concerned, SRK has done great stuff in Swades, ChkDe, Kabhie Haan Kabhie Naa, MNIK etc etc etc...so i don't need to justify his acting abilities to a SRK hater like you.
It was nightmare to sit for 3 hrs, I was waiting it to get over! Unbelievable crappy film. the theatre was 10 filled in PVR, and rediff claims 2 best opening collection. Its so sad media can be easily manipulated to to spread wrong information and fool people of their hard earned money( its 250 minimum rates in multyplex) dont waste money on this thrash!!!!

that's right hinduhitler was in the wrong hall. this movie is great. Ranbir is a great actor. He is so talented.
I mean think about it. You do not know language, passable acting, almost all movies are dubbed by dubbing artist. But whichever movie she is in makes a good business. This is what i call Graho ka khel ( game of planets) pure luck. Makes you believe in astrology.
Reminds me of Rajendra Kumar aka Jubilee kumar. I need not say more you all might have seen his movies... but all his movies were Silver jubilee or better. Hence the name Jubilee kumar.

Agreed. It is her "time" now.
Bachchan enjoyed similar success during the late 70s. The movies were no better than what his colleagues were making, but his movies were almost always superhits or blockbusters, where similar movies made by other leading actors were left far behind.
There is really no way to explain such phenomena, except call it luck.

Man your analogy is absolutely wrong.Bachchan was the only actor whom you can watch even today.Even his 70 movies are watchable now not other actors. If you saying so it is sheer your lack of knowledge regarding cinemas.World knows what Bachchan is capable of and he has proved time and again. But comparing a very mediocre actress like Katrina's luck with sheer talent like Bachchan is unpardonable.

"Bachchan enjoyed similar success during the late 70s."
bacchan attracted audiences on his merit and acting and screen persona.
what gakkad is talking aout is tottaly different. Katrina doesnt have any star attracting capacity of her own, she basically just fits in, yet her movies are always hits...but i dont think its just luck, she probably chooses the right movies and actors, and ones she fits into nicely.

her logic is simple - sign 5 to 6 movies a year and at least 2 or 3 of them would be hits.

Yuvraj? She is guest appearance in most of her movies anyways.
The guy lived in NY for 5-10 years since his teenage can't do hardcore rajneeti as showed in the movie. Also, I don't understand what are they eating before having sex but all three times (Nasir,Ranbir & Arjun) they had sex with their respective partners and they all get pregnant!!! Also, as Sooraj has killed their father, why Ranbir want to kill Veerubhai instead he should target sooraj first to take revange. Also, I don't understand why Ranbir have to do it by himself in the end, is he running out of funds to hire goons!! In reality people of his stature don't do that by themselves but hire goons to do that. Plots and screenplay looks amateur in some parts, overall good masala movie but not reality movie as Zha's previous one like Apharan.
