rajneeti is a worth watch,after a long time.though its not in same league as prakash jhas earlier releases like gangajal&apaharan but stil a good movie to watch.all the starcast acted well,nana patekar was at its usual best,rampal&ajay was good but the show stealer was manoj bajpayee and ranbir kapoor,gr8 performance 4m manoj.as for ranbir he is our next superstar after shahrukh khan.

ranbir is just hyped like every new hero who was touted as next Shah Rukh Khan....u can get proof of his lack of acting skills if u see ajab prem ki ghajab kahani.

Mnaoj always impresssed with his little cameos. Last time featured in Jail. He is not a conventional hero but a very good actor and excels many superstars in intense scenes.

eggjactly...its also such a cliched movie with slow pace...felt like sleeping after the first hour of the movie...madhavan has no role at all...sharman is so morose in the movie...its same ol aamir with his chabad chabad stuff copying his own style from andaz apna apna...
The film is far more better then the much hyped 3 Idiots. Amazingly Rajneeti has made 34 crore as compare to 38 crore of 3 Idiots even though 3 Idiots releases at the Chrismas festival; the best time for the movie release.
Its a serious film without those unnessary dancing in the rain,cheap jokes & all rubbish kind of stuff. Pick any of the actor from Rajneeti, everyone has performed better then AAmir...
Really 3 Idiots looks very childish in front of Rajneeti..

MNIK was all unintented fun. one cud laugh from start to end. Raajneeti is a bit serious and is beyond the comprehension for saduk fans brought up on ch0pra-j0har movies.

MNIK's plot has been devloped round the main character, Rizwan Khan and even after that it has done complete justice with its subject. It has global appeal.
On the other hand Rajneeti plot has been developed out of the subject "Rajneeti" but even after that has not done complete justice with its subject, especially in the 2nd half. It has the national appeal. Even after this minor flows its worth watch. Their are lots of good thing in the movie.
The major difference is that Karan Johar got rid of his fear and delivered MNIK and Jha caught with fear because of his ambitious project and deliver Rajneeti..

Highly critically acclaimed movie dont earn so much but even after that MNIK EARNED 200 CRORE.
As far as record breaking is concerned; read this:

bollywood is nothing when compared to hollywood. most bolly movies look like street plays in comparison to hollywood movies.
I saw this movie first day itself. I was anticipated a lot from this movie. But 3 hrs full KHICHDI movie. So many changes and twist in the plot. Well, Devgan and Manoj Bajpayee acted well along with Rampal. But the movie is a crap movie..3 long hrs..Huh. I was releived when the movie got over. Where is Kat in the movie. Hardly 20 mins role. Sad and Sucking movie.

It was nightmare to sit for 3 hrs, I was waiting it to get over! Unbelievable crappy film. the theatre was 10 filled in PVR, and rediff claims 2 best opening collection. Its so sad media can be easily manipulated to to spread wrong information and fool people of their hard earned money( its 250 minimum rates in multyplex) dont waste money on this thrash!!!!

Superb performance from all the cast members. Great job. great story. I will watch this movie again. the two younger actor ranbir and Katrina, prove that they are here to stay. I think Katrina is better than kojal.

i am for sure you didn't watch the movie nor else you would have never compared Katrina with queen of acting Kajol.Infact the only drawback of Rajneeti is Katrina.She couldn't emote properly.All others were good.Also Ranbir's mom (character) didn't have the fire.
