RAJNEETI IS THE BEST MOVIE SO FAR IN ITS CATAGORY
by Satinder Pannu on Jun 09, 2010 03:41 PM

I look at RAJNEETI as a Great Start, Its one of the Best Movies i have ever seen in its catagory, off course we can't compare it with 3idiots and DDLJ because its plot is different.
People don't understand that,Its very hard to work on this type of subject.

It explains a real image RAJNEETI how things work in real life, and i've read comments, that some people wrote its about North Indian states like Bihar and UP. Off course it is, because when you look at these states each have about 100 seats. which actually decides the govt as whole in the country.
I think its a great movie with some mind blowing dialogues and best in its catagory so far.....

Poor attempt by JHA
by durgesh on Jun 09, 2010 10:33 AM

Its a drama movie, where characters has been picked from here & there. Very poor attempt by Jha. Like Ranbir character is similar to Abishek's character in Sarkar.

This is not the right picture of our politics its just a masala film, which is boring too?

The problem is that the Alternatives are so so Bad that it seems like a decent movie. Strictly speaking very average movie.

Nowdays a hit is declared on the first week, when people don't even know if its good or bad by releasing it in 120 theatres.

Now look at Raavan its releasing in 130 theatres , obviously it will have good first week collections as people want to see it to know if its good or bad.

You are at unease... since you have posted probably 10s of hate posts on this movie.

The problem is that you want to tell people what is right or what is wrong. For God's sake, let the people make that decision for them.

As far as alternatives are concerned. There were many decent movies.. A Wednesday, Rann was good too, 1971: POW, Satya, Shool, Black Friday, Gulaal... how many of them turned block buster.

So, its not a lack of alternatives but people's choice. Why would some one make movies like these mentioned above if they going to lose money?

As far as Rajneeti is concerned. Its a decent movie. If people are watching, they spending money with knowing where they throwing their money. Otherwise, 90% of released movie should have been a hit..

I would like to see you spending your time and energy promoting a good movie rather than doing a Raja Sen.

Mahabharata made for UP< Biharis to educate them!
by hinduhitler on Jun 08, 2010 09:00 PM  | Hide replies

This film has nothing to offer for educated masses.
the film has around three love making scene for sexually fustrated north indians
ajay devgn makes dashing entry in the film only to fizzle out like krna of mahabarata
ranbhir a phd student shows lots politics intelligence then the family members like nana patekar (hahahah he has the most miserable role)
arjun rampal couldnt give his best we dont know why
katrina is minus zero in acting this film proves it
even after destroying his enemy completly, ranbhir does whats most unimaginable towards the end! thats the biggest joke.
watch it when ur local cable walas airs it if u really want to watch.

UP/ Bihari's are any day more educated and sensible than you.

You watch it when your cable wallah's airs it. People know where to spend their money. Then it doesn't matter for 99% what other 1% thinks about something a certain way.

Who gave you the impression that I am a northie..

I am an Indian and preferred to be called that way.

My regional identity is a well disguised secret.

Not that I am not proud of it, but I believe that I am an Indian first and then anything else.

U will always look down upon a UPite or a Bihari calling him a doodhwala or auto driver, but the fact is in an exam which is believed to be the toughest in India, they have been the most consistent achievers.

That is no joke.

So stop looking down upon any religion and take pride in being an Indian first.

If half of the population stop thinking like you, then we can focus on many bigger issues like poverty and terrorism.

Saw rajneeti. For all its hype it is a very average movie and has not repeat value.seems like people can get away with murder.Especially in the end Ranbir kills Ajay and Manoj and coolly flies abroad. Quite unbelieveable. It is a fight between evil and evil.Very tacky movie with only violence and political speeches from time to time.

rajneeti is a worth watch, after a long time.though its not in same league as prakash jhas earlier releases like gangajal&apaharan but stil a good movie to watch.all the starcast acted well, nana patekar was at its usual best, rampal&ajay was good but the show stealer was manoj bajpayee and ranbir kapoor,gr8 performance 4m manoj.as for ranbir he is our next superstar after shahrukh khan.

wonder how these effeminate ones like saduk, ranbir are touted as superstars. it happens only in bollywood. hence hollywood or any other movie industry produces far more masculine movies.

Mnaoj always impresssed with his little cameos. Last time featured in Jail. He is not a conventional hero but a very good actor and excels many superstars in intense scenes.
