For people/soldiers who fought against terrorims and even lost their lives, there are separate awards like Pramvir Chakra, Shaurya Chakra.
On Saif Ali Khan, her mother is chief of film sensor board, a very powerful and influential Govt posoition. And his father is very close to top brass of ruling party.
Amir Khan, the one who had criticized Narehdra Modi, CM of Gujarat, has also very close connections with the ruling party.

dude.. i appreciate ur sentiments but these are civilian awards and are awarded to those who have achieved in the field of art, lit science or public service. The military does have a separate set of awards to recognise service in wartime and peace situations
Every time in Republic day lots of unknown person ( not known to normal public) got India's highest awards. But Mr. Amir khan is desire for this , His last three picture Taare Zameen Par, Ghajini and the most recent 3 Idiots, Really after a long gape public enjoyed goob movie's with their family'es.

In India intelligence and merit doesn't count. Whatever happens in India has unlitately linked to Vote Bank gains. Ordinalry citizens have lost faith with these polititians. Unfortunetaely we don't have alternative choice than abide by the laws made by thugs!

He is getting Padma Shri not Padmabhusan. He is too young to be even getting Padma Shri the same award Rekha is getting. Rekha should be the one getting the higher honour of Padma Bhusan.
