26th jan 2010, The faith in the awards is lost for the common man. So is the faith in the state giving out the awards. The time is ripe for the disintegration of india. hope i will live to see it.
Padma adwards value is just going downwards by giving them to some saif ali's n all. earlier the same happened when the national awared was given by his mother to him. shame on our nation....again!!
Anyone remember who has got Padma award two years back. But you will find people who knows the actor and actress that has got filmfare award two years ago. So my point is Filmfare award is more recognized.
I would prefer the awards being even given to a Paki rather than such entertainers..there are scores of people who do a thankless job for humanity..and what about those classical artists & instrumentalists..people who made us proud..this award is a sham..it doesnt hold any value anymore..

People have forgotten that both M.S. Dhoni and Harbhajan Singh got Padama Shree; and they have been forgotten or gone down the memory lane. Had they been in U.K. and given an MBE, the low ranking decoration, the awardee uses it the title at the end of their names. How would Aamir Khan, or Saif Ali Khan be addressed. PB Aamir Khan or Aamir Khan PB, and how would that be for Saif: PS Saif Ali Khan or Saif Ali Khan PS.
