Cholas Tiger symbol is used to symbolize LTTE
by Shanmuganandan on Jan 16, 2010 07:15 PM  | Hide replies

Nobody seems understood, why he chose the Chola dynasty as centre theme. Selva don't have the intention to make a movie on Cholas. The movie is all about Srilankan Tamil issue. The Tiger symbol of cholas is used to Symbolise LTTE (Tigers). The total dialect resembles the Srilankan Tamil. Reema's Character is designed with SONIA GANDHI in mind as she had a revenge for something lost. She acts as a helping hand for Tamils, but backstab them by providing all military help & fund from the Central minister (Its mentioned in the initial stage in the movie) to destroy the cholas. Its directly criticising the Congress Govt. Finally there is clarity in the movie, whether the King was dead or moved away somewhere (all shown in dark), which resembles Prabhakaran's Death Mystery. He ends the moive with a fitting climax, Karthi escapes with the King's son providing a hope for the native Tamils.

its just a movie and only to be watched in that angle and the delivery of the movie is good but hope the second half could have been more better.

For those of you asking about where is the story?..Shanmuganathan Summed it up for you..Thanks Shanmuganathan.

Meanwhile the tiger is the official Chola Flag for more than 2000 Years and present day srilankan tamils are mostly descendants of Chola Dynasty.

AO is all about Srilankan Tamil issue

The movie is all about Srilankan Tamil issue. The chola tiger symbol is nothing than LTTE (Tigers). Misunderstood initially as the saviour, Reema is none other than SONIA. The Indian army torturing the Tamils & Women is shown as it is. When he was surrounded the Tiger King tries to cut his throat (substitute for cyanide). At the end it is kept dark, whether the King was dead or moved away somewhere as like the mystery in Prabhakaran's death. NOBODY IS AS DARING AS SELVA WHO BOLDLY CAPTURED THE SRILANKAN ISSUE IN THIS EPIC MOVIE
