One Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Two Rajkumar Hirani, Three Amir Khan, there is no doubt the movie is based on Chetan Bhagat's book, he definitely deserves credit.

Three Idiots collected a mind boggling 34.50 crore nett over its second weekend. The figure is better than all other films first weekend. Three Idiots has now collected nearly 114 crore nett in 10 days plus paid previews which is nearly the same as Ghajini's lifetime nett business. The distributor share has crossed 60 crore which is the highest share ever. The film is just setting one staggering record after another. Monday may see a drop as the holiday season is over but still the second week should be at least 50 crore nett.

Man this is just the begining the word will spread and the movie has a long way to go.....
While the producers and storywriters (film & book included) have been with cloak and daggers in the full media glare with an emotional outpour, what is getting hidden beneath the outburst is the highly exhorbitant ticket prices in multiplexes. It is high time, that the consumers rise together to lower & control the prices. The multiplex owners do earn a lot from the food and beverages, ad display prices, renting out the area, etc.. Moreover the government have been "kind" enough to waive the entertainment tax in these outlets as against the single screen owners. Enough is enough the customer should boycott as we all know that in a month or so, the same movie is available in TV.
Nothing is there in the movie, some of the scenes they have copied from old movies, some of the scenes are from some of the kannada movies, no creativity, no dialogues, no theme!
