Movie On Epic Scams?
by brahmarakshas on Dec 13, 2010 10:16 AM

What epics, we have bigger epics scams going around. Cameron can make a political epic on that and since corruption is anyway common across the world, the film will be a huge world wide hit.

Film on Indian History not Epics
by bob clown on Dec 13, 2010 09:40 AM  | Hide replies

I would like Cameron to make movies on Indian legends rather than epics. Epics are just stories, like real life characters Akbar, Humayun, Shivaji, or great events that took place in India

cuz, they do not know the entire truth about us. so they give some respect. and we do know about us, and so we do not give respect to us. what culture we do have! only when u go to abroad you know that, we do not know how to stand in Q, we do not know how to tream women, we do not even have basic courtesy! so we do not give respect to us. it is natural. so do not complain about indians. learn to live with us.

Well!!!

He should forget the Indian or other Epics now & concentrate fully on the NEW-FOUND EPIC OF MODERN DAY i.e to say - WIKILEAKS. No dearth of subject or characters or situations or effects..... & above all, the bigggest challenge for Directing it.

Well he would be best to do Ramayana as its a relative simple plot and lots of special effects than Mahabharata which needs a Ridley Scott to Make it

Ridley Scott? Dude, are you drunk!
The script of Mahabharata is by itself too overwhelming to handle by any director across the globe.

It would be really sad if this happens. I mean in the past the movie Gandhi (a masterpiece) by R.Att and now Mahabharatha by JC.

Anyways, it would be really beautiful if Mahabharatha (minus jingoism) is made by JC instead of an average overhyped Indian director.

Of all the directors in world today, I can only think of him to do justice to RAMAYANA (which belongs to entire world and not just to India BTW).

He can do 100% technical justice to it, undoubtedly.

But can he capture the deeply spiritual elements of that epic ? The fine line between Cheesy and heart felt, genuine emotion could be blurred in celluloid.
