He is one who picks his causes carefully! He must surely be on the other side of the clueless-enlightened divide! People like us, on this side, get forced into random plots and causes, most likely due to poor governance at the highest levels.
I think Cameron is too shallow a director to justify the great Mahabharata and the Ramayana. He is better off potraying western cartoon characters. Some of the comments on this topic has come from readers who are very strong in english but are basically shallow, hollow types.

your problem is our epics have masala? So what is bad.It is good for movie maker.Evey want masala.Good thing here is Director don't have to invent any masala.Everything is build-in. So stop talking like a funda-mental.

why not. When they can see Lord Of Ring they can watch the splendor or Ramayana and Mahabharata
I can donate to what ever level I can if this Director takes Indian Epics. Why not?Why illogical Lord of Rings can come in trilogy then why not Mahabharata?

Oh boy! I never said that these things never happened. It would have happened and what you read as an epic is nothing but an exaggeratted version of the same.
There are many realities burried and only the untrue, made up incidents form the major part of it. They didnt have movies and serials in olden days and so, they did the same with these stories like any director wud do to a story that is shot as a movie.

'cos everyone knows lord of rings is a fiction but we still believe that the "made up" epics happened in reality. Our indian epics are a shrinked version of all our masala movies.
Every thing is there in them as in any Indian movie.
Dance, Song, Treachery, Action, Comedy, Violence, Dream Sequence, Sentiment, Hero, Villian, Comedian, Super hero stunts, and adult masala items too.
So poor Cameroon should wake up and thrash this stupid dream.

Valmiki wrote Ramayana atleast 3000 years back. Somewhere in present day Pakistan he started writing Ramayana. Hope you agree with me. How did he travel all the way to South found there is a "Lanka" and imagined a story.Even if he crossed to Lanka he don't have satellite view to know that is real Lanka.Even if you are flying on aeroplane you cannot confirm that is Island. Then how did he know that it is a Island?

Oh! didnt know that you belonged to that same team that made up Srilanka. Good that atleast one of those species remained to tell us the exact happening and open our eyes.
Just because I name a few city in my story, doesnt mean that the story existed.

Sri Lanka is small city for you? It is far,far away from somewhere Pakistan. Anyway, you did not answer my question. How did he know?

Arun, can pl tell us what is the "original history" of this country and also name six prominent aryans in present day India?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Is there a donation box?

ask him. You are only saying this. We all know how the aryan invasion from persia changed the original history of this country.
I recently saw a program on History Channel about Ancient Aliens...some of it was pretty far-fetched, but what caught my attention was the mention of Dwarka. The underwater ruins of a well-planned city, dating back to a time when man was still thought to be living in caves, has scientists all agog. There are said to be prehistoric ruins in Japan and South America as well. Once it is proved that these cities that were breathing some 10,000-16,000 years ago really existed, we'll see a definite rush to get to Dwarka. I see our Epics getting very popular in the coming future. Maybe Cameron should make his movie on our Epics now, before everyone else joins the party.

In this Ram-Janambhoomi / Babri Masjid land, where Hindus and Muslims are still fighting, in the 21st century, of education and greater enlightenment, this is disaster waiting to happen.
