COMMUNAL!!!

Our home bred secularists will now brand Cameron as communal since he talks only about Ramayana/mahabharata and they will demand a film on Momad/christ too to make him secular again.

very true. as long as this secular congress rules India, we'd never progress. I am glad so called seculars were at least shown the door in Bihar. Now it's India's turn to unite and kick Congress and other such parties.

we dont have actors

we may have directors to make an epic movie, but we dont have actors. Amitabh, Shahrukh, Salman, Anil... none can play any role of substance that'd be needed for movies like Ramayana and Mahabharata.

Cameron created a new world for Avatar using CGI. I'm sure he could create a bunch of people using CGI to portray the characters of Indian epics.

I still feel that the TV series of Ramayana and Mahabharatha were very well made. The actors, performances and the general feel were very good for its time. If the same was made today, I feel it may have a more western influence.
