Hi, I wanted to share few things about the impact of the lousy flim critics on the film industry and scores of people whose lievely hood dependent on the movie industry. Hence I wanted to know if Bollywood industry collaborates with the Goverment and institute a ban of any reviews of all new movies for a period of atleast 2 weeks from the release dates .This efforts is to save the genuine efforts of aritstes and makers of the movie. A genuine good movie requires just 10 days to 2 weeks full houses to create an impact on the box office and it helps the efforts of the many involved in making the movie. I just wonder these so called ” film critics” with their whilm and fancy write crap about movies being released. Many a times we see bias towards some particular actor or hatredess etc etc causes a good movie to flop just by these critics reviews. One should give a serious thought in banning reviews for atleast 2 weeks period after a film is released. This action is towards betterment of scores of people depending on film industry. With a lousy critic not liking some actors, give bad reviews, the film starts dropping in collections . This not only impacts the leading pair of the movie, the film producer and distributor, it also has impact on theatre staff, snacks stalls and people whose livelyhood depends on this industry. If moviesdoes not have a review for 2wks &people's mind is not corrupted by the reviewers, moovie runs well giving much

Afterall, if the movie is bad and not likeable , audience would lose Rs 150 to Rs 500 [depending whether single theatre or multiplex] and at the most about 3 hrs time loss,. If reviewer is biased and movie is really good, if audience is carried away by the stupied reviewers, the loss is for the film industry and many people whose livelyhood depends on the movie box office results. Am I right to say so?

You seem to be drowned in Hollywood fascination, and writing something irrelevant upto the hilt.
You people have 'made' people like Raja Sen, Taran Adarsh, Rajeev Masand and the ever so horrible Anupama Chopra
If people actually stick to not giving Raja Sen hits by commenting/linking to his articles his popularity would die in an instant.
If people stopped watching NDTV, CNN-IBN and their crappy review shows which include the likes of Masand, Anupama and wouldn't pay attention to their worthlessly written half-assed reviewers then these morons wouldn't control the fate of a film.
this is the current state of Indian youth! Chittagong is not one corner of Bengal, but one of its most important port cities. Chittagong has been always a proud district, and perhaps the most beautiful of Bengal cities. It was in the forefront not just in the freedom struggle, but also in arts and eduction. Some of the biggest names in Indian life are from Chittagong.

Raja Sen is perfect product of British Education system. Ask him sometimes, he even wont feel ashamed about not knowing our Indian history properly.
