giving stars wont change the reality Ms. Preeti
by vikas a on Apr 24, 2010 03:15 PM

Ms. Preeti...
giving 1 or 5 stars to the reality of life is meaningless...if u feel watchin and rating a movie is your cup of tea then please stick to it...u are not aware of the harsh and unthinkable past the people had faced when it actually happened... hats off to Mr. Manjrekar to bring on screen the same...i dont understand or i should say ..only if things like these happen with people like the critics will they realise that ratings are only for their daily salary and fill up these pages..

In the novel Dominique Francon reviews a house by Howard Roark, the review reads as a criticism but read between the lines and it was all praise for the creator and criticised the mediocre people who were unworthy of it

the reviewer has praised the movie in the entire review and has given only 2 stars! guess 4 1/2 stars are reserved for crap like MNIK.

The reviewer didnt know that this movie is based on a marathi play 'Adhantar'. It is available on VCD even today and the performances in them are mind blowing... good topic to handle

common people, blowing up things out of proportion is all u know. Multiplex audience means people who like MNIK, BHEJA FRY, DIL CHAHTA HAI etc, and not welcome to sajjanpur, me shivaji raje or city of god for that matter!!

such scripts dont interest elite audience, whether its a marathi or punjabi aur gujarati movie. language goes secondary, status becomes important
