The Movie makes you think of how these people would have managed to live in such a bad economic situation.. It has aal the spices.. one more thing in common.. people in this movie are real.. they all have humanity.. some of the scenes may make you cry.. Plz watch this Movie...
Excellent chawl env. Mill workers who lived on hopes. Definitely mill owners were not that bad but their ambition to grow rich, so called capitalism. Character like Datta Samant, who believed in Socialism. And in between all these poor mill worker family, which is struggling every day to survive and finally the rule 'survival of the fittest' applies. Excellent, deep meaning, harsh but true script, equally well directed, acted movie.

I think that things are same even today. Only a few are enjoying the fruits of growth. Our society should try to get its share, rather than fighting with each other.
I saw this movie...please dont go by this dumbo-review..its a hard hitting film w/ terrific performances..specially that "Naru"..seema biswas and siddharth are good too...watch it to realise it!
