Kannada has got 2 Best Actor national awards so far in the last 55 years against 6 of Tamil. Out of the 2 awards one in 1987 was bagged by Charuhasan [Kamalhassan's elder brother] a Tamilian ! Hence Kannadigas are making more noise even an actor from their state gets award in other language films !
Prakash Raj made a good decision to shift to Tamil and picked up 3 awards. Otherwise he will oly be acting in some Kannada movies which are 50 % remake of Tamil & 40 % remake of Telugu movies. They banned dubbing from other languages to enable remakes ! The person to be in the right place to taste success

prakash raj an Indian actor ina an Indian movie directed by and Indian director won Indian National award..thik like this..brother.
It really very pride for Kannadigas. By acting in Tamil films great Rai got national award his work expereince in Karnataka as a drama/stage artist has brought him national award. Any way best of luck to Rai !
This is a pretentious film. I had a chance to see this movie. Yes its not the normal stuff. Nothing to crave about. May be its heart is at the right place but there is something known as a directors ctaft which is completly missing in this movie, for that matter priyadarshan lacks the craft as a director. Just having a visual apeal will not make this movie great.
