Whilst its obviously sad to hear stories of any child suffering, this is the height of ridiculousness. this bloke wants a place only in bandra - im not from bombay but this is supposed to be one of the wealthier areas in the city if im not mistaken.i feel sorry for the kids but im sorry but there are more deserving kids in india then those who starred in a stupid overhyped film

What about the other slum dogs? Azaharuddin, 10, and Rubina Ali, 9, are the child hero and heroin of Slum dog Millionaire so the founders of charity facilitate them and there family...
Wat about the other slum dog people ... I raise this question What about the other slum dogs? readers i want your answer..

How long you would look westwards for alms? Why slumdogs? Why produce 6-7 kids expect one of them to become a celebrity so some white man comes to rescue him/her and the rest.
The drunkard fathers will sell those houses soon, or if they cant ..they will rent it out and move back to the slums again.. All these people need is money in hand

what aboutmillion others? If someone will not work and earn, but will produce kids, whose responsibility it is-the tax payers? The govt job is to enable everyone to earn not beg and borrow. The Laziness will continue for ever. There was a bangladeshi beggar in bombay who had visited Dhaka more than 10 times a year
After all his hate speeches and slumbered rhetoric about the movie, where was Mr. B now? Why couldn't he come and save only these two children first? It took Danny Boyle to come down from London to do it... Shame on us who only know how to be vindictive, but won't lift a finger to do anything!

India is a democracy. Amitabh Bachchan has the right to express himself like anybody else. It is Boyle's job to help them because he said he would do so and made a preachy film and made tons of money. It was not Bachchan who made the money after exploiting slum dwellers!

I think you are mis-understood about Big B. In his blog he meant that if the same movie was made by an Indian they had a slim chance of getting an Oscar.. I think he did not said that he opposed Slumdog Millionaire in the context which you are thinking..
Go to his blog it's all fair and square. Don't make an opinion on hearsay..

And what's with coming "down" from London? Whenever a foreigner comes to India, it always mentioned as coming down to Mumbai or flew down to Delhi, or wherever. What's so down about any place in India? If it's meant to be according to the latitudes and longitudes, then ROTFL.

Are you insane? If I stay in London and somebody comes to vist me from Jumritaliaya, I would say he flew down from Jumri to see me. I am not sure if you get it or will ever get it.

what Mr. Bachchan got to do it man, r u insane? You are saying as if this country has given free lunches to Mr. Bachchan.
It is obvious that that father have some other motives... Azhr and Rubina are just tip of iceberg.. there are lakhs of other children like this... any way, its good if atleast a couple of thm get good homes and education
