Atleast our jobless President Ms Patil shud intervene/involve in social causes like this & not to travel abroad without any reason on tax payers money????
What silly figures are they quoting ? they couldnt afford a house for 5L pounds ? or maybe a part of that ? and what about the rest of the Non slumdog kids are they any less in pain ? shame on the administration.
AS A CITIZEN IT IS THE ORDER TO THRIVE TO DO SO & TAKE ALL RESPONSIBILITY BY THE INDIAN GOVERNMENT BUT IT IS SHOWN AND PROVED AGAIN THE HABIT THE POVERTY THE INJUSTICE OF INDIAN GOVERNMENT TOWARDS THE RESIDENTS IN SLUMS- INDIA PROVED SUCH A TRUE THAT REALLY THESE KIDS ARE SLUMS DOGS AS IT IS IN THE MOVIE! SO NO SHAME ON THIS MOVIE NOW-SHAME ON INDIAN GOVERNMENT AND THAT WHOLE COMMUNITY WHO WERE TALKING AGAINST THAT TRUTH-THE MOVIE!MR BACHCHAN AND SO OTHERS!MR BOYLE ARE NOT THAT DATA HATEM TAI OR HAJJI MOHAMMAD MOHSIN-LIKE REPITING THE HISTORY OF ALMS & BEGGING BY THE BRITISH TOWARDS THE 3RD WORLD AGAIN,IT IS THE FAILURE OF INDIA! INDIA WANTS TO SHOW THAT INDIA BECOMING A BIG POWER?WHY AND HOW? WHO DOESN'T SOLVE BASIC HUMAN NEEDS TO THEIR CHILDREN?WHO HAS NO CHARACTER AND WHO HAVE NO PRESTIGE TO TAKE THE ALMS/WHEREAS IT IS AN INTERNAL PROBLEM OF INDIAN-WHO IS THE BOYEL COMES AND GIVING ALMS TO THE KIDS OF INDIAN CITIZEN????????? ISN'T SMELL FISHY? WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER SLUMS RESIDENTS???WHERE THEY GO? COULD THE GOVERNMENT PLS ANSWER THIS?
Slumdog Millionaire has shown us a thing...Our country loves to give loads of hype for unnecessary things...This movie started off hyping an average actress named Frieda Pinto as the next big thing n so n so...followed by her affair with her co star Dev Patel...wherever they move,a news will be published at least in rediff....now its continuing with the kids of that film...Years before,a news was broadcasted showing the poor state of the child actors who acted in Mr India...But none went onto make a news....If thats the case,then whats so special about these two kids?...Since they acted in a British film,they are getting special status?...In our country,there are many kids who are exploited in many ways n homeless too...but unluckily,they couldn't get the limelight like these two kids (no offence meant)....n with 500,000 pounds,I am sure they can make a living out of it...n if this Rubina's dad couldn't find a living out of that,then its better that he lives as a slumdog...n one advice to Boyle...please put your limit in your generosity....its more like giving alms to beggars....they will come back expecting the same next time..or most probably next day

roooshin cme over the crap u have written....dont try to act as if u r the only sane and righteous here....the bottom line boyle is being blackmailed and nothing else....
yes i also believe these people have found a soft target and are trying to get the maximum out of danny boyle.they have no intention of shifting out of slums.where else can you stay in mumbai without having to pay a single rupee for tax for water , electricity etc. and imagine wanting to stay in bandra only!! next they will say that they want to stay next to salman's house or something. their demands go on increasing everyday.they should not be entertained.
Govt had given houses to the slum dwellers and they sold them and went back to slums. Why should one care about those who don't want to work hard and change their lives when there are hard working honest people also suffering. Come on this is life. Law of nature,survival of the fittest.
