by Manali Thomas on Jun 27, 2009 04:27 PM  | Hide replies

Raj invited MJ to India, millions heard him, missions were made from him, all pocketed by Raj as then SS government exempted the show from any tax.

That is what MJ meant for Mumbai.

He was a child like Adult who was taken advantage of by parents who had an eye on his wealth...No wonder he was framed up with allegations...He was not guilty in anything except the fact that media played it up and made him one....

Even you will who have your feet stuck on earth...Don't think you will stay for eternity here on Earth....You better know that Lord Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World and accept him as your Savior else you will be in HELL....

MJ
by Rameswara Rao on Jun 27, 2009 03:36 PM

I am not strong music lover of pop songs, but I have an inner feeling that MJ is one of his kind. He enjoyed such an honor which is very very rare feat. As a singer, he is a global celebrity. Many people will earn money but only few will retain. MJ has suffered some setbacks in this respect. At least it should be an eye opener for the rest. Pray almighty let the soul rest in peace.

an indian tribute to the legend
by pakka idiot on Jun 27, 2009 03:02 PM

for years...when dads saw their kids shake a leg to any sort of music. they d say 'isko michael jackson banna hai!' whether we ve heard him or not whether we know him or not whether we ve seen him or not... the name Michael Jackson is synonymous with song and dancecin India. we join the huge world community of his fans in mourning and this itself is proof of how much we love him and his music, which we as a nation cannot have paid a bigger tribute in any other manner to...

And memory Lives On ----- MJ
by murali pillai on Jun 27, 2009 11:28 AM

Paul Binnet, Davely Travis, Susan Darling,Nabhir Akhtar, Allan Silverman, Phil Ervin Pat Gates all legendary D.J's used to ooze tons of accolades in the late 70's and early 80's whenever requests for MJ songs where aired on BBC,Radio Australia, Radio Kuwait and VOA.
When in the early 80,s I had requested a top notch group of western India to play MJ live, they said they never heard of MJ. As time passed the whole of India get to know MJ better. Long live his memory. RIP.

Many of us who grew up in those decades when he lived and mesmerised the world will remmber him for the way he revolutionised english POP. He will also be remembered for his dance and composition. He was a genius notwithstanding his split personality. He will continue to inspire many and the children of today when they grow up will never find anathor MJ.The king is dead. There wil never be anathor MJ ever again.

MJ made me cry
by TakNeha on Jun 27, 2009 10:17 AM  | Hide replies

I didn't get the news of MJ's tragic demise until late 7:30pm but the moment I heard ..it felt like I lost someone who could have lived some more time.I could not sleep until I cried for someone I grew up listening to watching to.I still remember when dangerous was released the cassette cost me 90/- but I was more than happy to buy that.
It has still not sunk in but I felt those tears that I cried last night made my heart a little lighter..

He truly was a king of pop and will remain forever. We loved u all and will keep loving u forever.
May god give his soul peace..

I 43 now, but last September I bought MJ's CD, and my eyes are welling with tears as I write this.
Yes, since my college days I grew up listening and watching his perfect dance.

RIP, MJ and you are there in my heart, your smiling face (u know MJ's black and white, both faces had that similar smile, the plastic couldn't change his smile, and I am glad to realize this, do you agree, plz. comment)

Good bye Music King and rest in peace.
