I think its an OK movie but surely couldn't get the message across as terrorism is not an answer to anything. I belive what happened to Sam was bad but the americans were not entirely wrong as the old guy who sent sam into terrorism was also a prisoner with them, so in theory not all of them were innocent and look on the bright side that it was only in a country like america that he finally got out. In countries like pakistan or middle east sam would have never seen the light of the day if caught as has happened to many of our indian fishermen who are still in pak jail for being suspects only and face treatment worse then what sam had faced. I think what irfan said in the end was the essence of the movie and I applause the director for that meaningful end.
Reiff, Let go Raja Sen. His reviews have consistently been a sham. New York, the film, like NY the City is very good. I will recommend this movie anyday to my friends and loved ones.
A Must see movie with at least a 3 if not 3.5 star rating.

I've noticed it forever that Raja Sen never ever rates a movie well, and if by mistake he does then that has 2 b pne of the lamest movie ever... New York deseves at least 3 stars if not 4... every1 gives amazin performances, it brings 2 light facts bout 9/11, and it is executed very well... raja sen wat is it wit u???

All movies for Amitabh,Akshay, Abhishek, Salman are bashed by some media sections which are paid by SRK as yearly contract. This is not a Joke!
Even some mega events were sabotaged by SRK in germany, london...Its was "Unforgettable" torment for the Megastar.
Good movies like 8X10, Oye Lucky, Wednesday too got bashed.
Salman's career got saboatged. Look how anti Salman is the media and we know why!

Media had once flawed Rajesh Khanna for being in dilemma about his position, today the same media is promoting Anti Industry activities that SRK is doing to give the industry huge losses
Because of sabotage Industry loses millions of rupees as they dont go to watch them despite movies being good.

I have seen the movie and I think if 100 people are asked to review this movie 99 people will give 2 star or more. And the 1 person who will give 1 star is this jerk Raja Sen.Raja Sen do you know anything about how to review a movie? I think people who watched this movie will agree with me.
i think raja sen watched the movie in chinese subtitles so it looks like he did'nt understand the movie at all. The movie has a strong plot and the narration of the story keeps you seated for the full length of the movie. Although the end part could have been better, other than that the movie had nice songs, decent acting by the young brigade of the film industry, the movie is running housefull in my city and that is what matters the most. Mr. Raja Sen definitely needs a long break. His busy shedule might have affected his brains.
