Micheal Jackson, the name has inspired crores of people. The greatest showman the world has ever known. His shows were big , the energy he displayed in his shows was tremendous. I used to wonder in my childhood days were he gets so much energy while performing. A master performer. it's an unfillable loss to the world. I pray to god may his soul rest in peace.

How MJ inspired Rahman secretly
by Khullam Khullah on Jun 26, 2009 10:13 PM  | Hide replies

He was a lunatic, substance-abuser (overdose of prescriptive drugs), low self-esteem sufferer (hence the skin dyeing to white), eccentric (holding/grabbing his own crotch). But in music terms, make no mistake -- he was a genius. Add to that his dancing ability. That made him a star performer. Clever businessman too. But, ultimately, was he a good human being? Debatable. But people will remember his music and dancing achivements which will remain unsurpassed forever. He is not a good role model though. He could not handle fame, money and success with equanimity, and loved to project himself as larger than life (remember making a big fuss of pissing in Bal Thackeray's loo in Mumbai). If only he confined himself to singing and dancing....But then, there is this great paradox in everything in Universe. MJ is no stranger to this paradox. Genius yes, but flawed, like every other genius.

He was acquitted of all charges. He lost his wealth in legal battles and eccentric shopping. Coming to the skin dyeing, its all rumors. He was diagnosed with vitiligo in 1990(skin losing melanin and turning white). Most importantly try to remember the good things about him in his demise. He was a genius: Composer, Singer, Dancer, Performer, global celebrity. All extraordinary talents combined into one. He is a legend and has inspired choreographers, dancers, singers, artists, kids you name it. People started taking singing, dancing seriously as a career after watching him. Websites like Twitter, LA times crashed when people jammed the websites on his death. Even google, aol, yahoo slowed down under the barrage of people flooding in to pay their respects to MJ online. He is the greatest celebrity in this century and the King of pop. No one even comes close. May he find freedom and happiness in his death. We have lost the greatest entertainer in the world...

why not you become genius like him and handle fame,money..as u say...so tht when you die people can put you as a rare example who handled everything...is this the time to analyse all this and tht too, do u have the credential to judge him?

Holy cow... you are either 10 years old or incredibly immature... the guy with the original post was spot on in every comment except the skin dyeing and partially on the crotch grabbing parts. He was a star and he couldn't handle the fame/pressure and made a streak of poor judgements in his personal life. Those are facts that cannot be refuted. All that being said, this is not really the time or the forum to be voicing these classless opinions. He just passed away... Show some respect and move on...
