He inspired the whole world.......
by Hari KM on Jun 27, 2009 12:46 AM  | Hide replies

It was only yesterday I showed the videos of Michael Jackson to my 6 yr old daughter...I told her how great a dancer, singer and an entertainer he was. I was surprised when my daughter said..." Papa! every film stars are jus copying him." She became an instant fan of him. She watched all his videos again and again on the youtube. It was then I realized how he is able to even impact a totally new generation.

I grew up with in the generation who admired Michael Jackson in his peak........u ask any top dancers or artist in India.....Prabhu Deva, Hrithick, Javed or anybody.....they all grew up influenced by him and in turn has helped them in their career in someway. World over we could take lots of examples. He conveyed wonderful inspirational messages to the world through his music. He is truly a legend which has brought changes to many in a big way. No body in the future can never ever beat his record sales or can be another like him.

I only wished the media and people stop tarnishing his image with assumptions. I feel only a shallow minded person would misunderstand him.

His legend will live on and you will see more of new age artist inspired by him. May his soul rest in peace.

Most of MJ's singing and dancing style are copied from the native dance and song styles of West Africa

your point being? even if your unfounded and most certainly untrue statement was true, there are aspects of every artist's arsenal that has to some degree been derived from other forms of art. if you want to call that "copying" then i guess what you're saying is that the beatles, led zeppelin, elvis and every other rock n roll band out there copied chuck berry, the original father of rock n roll. stop spewing you nonsense in these forums and grow up.

Yes, I am totally agreed with U. I knew a little about Michael before His death. But after his sudden death i was just shocked. I saw all the videos and articles regarding Hi, and found that whether he was blamed but I cannot believe such sayings. He was a caring and loving father to his kids and True Artist Musician, singer, dancer and He was just The Best whatever He did throughout His Life. Even from childhood he had great memories and a feeling to serve and heal the Human Being and nature. Even most of His videos are picturised just to awake the people to save the Earth and Nature.

I selute to Michael Jacson ;
No comparisons for Such a True Legend And Entertainer. May God Bless His Soul And all his family, Kids, Fans, whoever cared for Him anyhow.
Michael's Sudden Death is A big loss to Humanity.

MJ's bigger than beatles, elvis, curt cobain put together
by gokul dharmana on Jun 27, 2009 12:30 AM  | Hide replies

He was acquitted of all charges. He lost his wealth in legal battles and eccentric shopping. Coming to the skin dyeing, its all rumors. He was diagnosed with vitiligo in 1990(skin losing melanin and turning white). Most importantly try to remember the good things about him in his demise. He was a genius: Composer, Singer, Dancer, Performer, global celebrity. All extraordinary talents combined into one. He is a legend and has inspired choreographers, dancers, singers, artists, kids you name it. People started taking singing, dancing seriously as a career after watching him. Websites like Twitter, LA times crashed when people jammed the websites on his death. Even google, aol, yahoo slowed down under the barrage of people flooding in to pay their respects to MJ online. He is the greatest celebrity in this century and the King of pop. No one even comes close. Mayhe find freedom and happiness in his death. We have lost the greatest entertainer in the world. He is far greater than the media hyped trash like Curt Cobain and Princess Diana who just achieved greatness because they died an untimely death. To maintain a record and career like that for over 3 decades is no mean feat. A child prodigy and a legendary entertainer is what MJ will be remembered for

what does drug abuse have anything to do with his artistic genius you retard? btw he was not "abusing narcotic drugs", whatever the hell that means. He was apparently addicted to amphetamine and other prescription drugs. quit posting lame comments and show some damn respect.

But bigger than the beatles and elvis (who abused drugs as well)? that's an easy statement to make at this juncture but really? It would be really hard to pick the greatest one among them.

The greatest musician of the 80s and 90s....
by Kalpana Natarajan on Jun 26, 2009 11:55 PM  | Hide replies

... he struggled to get to the top. Unfortunately he didnt have the power to retain his position. All said and done his music cannot be stolen. That will live on, and inspire many young budding talent to come out!

I pity his children.

Don't know why he gave birth to children whom he cannot protect and care for. When he couldnt take care of himself, he should not have got children.
