the indian community has a population of less than 2% in the USA and americans are do get curious and bollywood dance is definetly not a craze and they dont want to run around trees, cars, roads and infront of buildings dancing. its considered silly.
Mostly it is just a specific type of white person that is interested in bollywood in America. Mostly urban or suburban upper-middle class girls between 17 and 25 years old with Indian girl friends.
The rest is just NRIs and US-born Indian Americans.

bollywood dance? what is that? Everytime i see bollywood songs on tv, they show the hero without shirt under the shower or in beach and heroine in bikini kissing each other or hero and heroine lying in bed naked covered in bedsheet ..
This is yet another overhyped news by rediff... bollywood dance or Indian dance is not popular as it is project. Yes There are shows happens in US but that only in India cultural events so its not bollywood dance rocking for American ..its just we Indian love that dance and we like to watch.. Indian origin or NRI. Yeah For NRI they want to show some unique identity in their school as they are not 100% american /Indian so they try to show off this dance as to represents India ...
