you may call him a fat joker .you may abuse him as a fat madrasi.you may laugh saying he is a sambar drinking south indian.But friends understand that Mohanlal is three time national award winner and greatly admired by amitabh bachan,shahrukh khan and other top actors of indian film industry.It is his films that many of you the so called superior indians watched after been re produced in hindi.I dont want to just start a debate on this north indian -south indian supermacy topic.Because I feel that the united indians stand better for the country.But just to reply to some of my north indian friends superiority theory let me just give following facts.our defence minister is a keralite,our chief justice is a keralite,sania mirza is a south indian,only oscar winner indians A.R.Rahman and Rasool Pookutty are south indians,Anil kumble is a south indian,Rahul dravid is south indian,greatest chess player viswanathan anand is south indian,APJ abdul kalam is a south indian ,even ur so called John abraham is a keralite .so still if u feel sambar drinking southindian madrasi is inferior to northindian then friends it is ur so called superiority complex that comes from ignorance that is causing the feeling.Let us be indians and dont raise the superiority of north indian debate .Let us try to be the best in the world and not cause divisions based on caste,religion,skin colour .Jai hind

Very well said Manoja. Such criticisim is uncalled for and does not auger well for Indian national integration...which in the need of the hour.
Mohan lal has done a commendable job! his effort is similar to that of our all rounder bollywood star Nana patekar. Even if his effort has symbolic value,Mohanlal deserves to be respected by all Indians. I wish him all the best.
All said and done, by intent and deed alone he has shown more patriotism than that Bacchhan guy who is too busy with the anti-national activities of the Samajwadi party. Like some of those individuals here who are insulting other Indians!

Im feeling ashamed seeing what level Indian army has gone down to. A fat filled tummy, probably 120 kg man joining the army. He may be a good actor but not the person who can be taken as an icon for braveness and fitness. Even if they want to make tamasha by inducting an actor, go for some young and fit actor who would at least not make be funny for Indian army.....Grow up India.

That's not the point idiot. It's to give propaganda to the T army and to get citizens involved bcos their role model or favorite actor inspired them. That's how is starts. Do you really think Kapil Dev with his pot belly can do anything either?
