A lot of readers here have posted some really useless and brainless comments...
Kapil Dev and Mohan Lal are achievers in their own fields, who have already made their millions... Despite that, they have amply demonstrated that the average Indian should not look at the Army as merely a profession... Its an umbillical cord that binds Indians to the nation...
Who doesnt want to protect his/her mother..?? A human being who demonstrates his feelings in action has to be commended and not degraded. Mohanlal has shown that despite being so gifted and talented, he still considers the Indian Army a profession that commands RESPECT and PASSION FOR THE NATION.
Readers here could mock him... But every single person who reads this article knows in his/her heart that THIS is something that they also would like to do... However taking it in the right spirit is how strong human beings would react... rather than ridiculing him, like some of the weaklings (in soul and spirit) here are doing..
Way to go Mohanlal..!!! Dont worry about dogs... They are prone to barking..!!!

Mohanlal has acted in hit movies like Kirti Chakra and Kurukshetra. Incidentally, Kurukshetra was based on the Kargil war in 1999 and the actor played the role of a commando.Now he is inducted in the Indian Army.
Shiney Ahuja acted in hindi films showing underworld nexus and now he is really in jail.?/

sorry buddy, shiney is not the product of his acting. He is a man, a human. A need or situation would have arisen where a two minute pleasure has put him in a fix. God only knows and every human knows a celebrity of any nature or kind is always at the end of receiving end or black mail whether consensual or forced the other person always knows a two minute of adventure if given a right marketing support can become a celebrity themselves. Even then God only knows what really transpired and my sympathies with him for which he should have been carefull keeping in mind his status and his wife. I would sacrifice such a pleasure for my family if not anything else. ELSE FOR MOHAN LAL HIS EFFORT IS A BOOSTER FOR THE YOUTH TO JOIN THE INDIAN ARMED FORCES. Mohanlal has demonstrated that Indian Army is not something that is ONLY a job... Its something to do with a altogether different feeling... Its called PATRIOTISM.. And you are either born with it or without it... Same way as you love your mother... Either you love her or do not... There is no grey area here dude...
