Does the film's story line mildly reminds of PKS?
by r s on Jul 04, 2009 09:53 PM

The film seems to have largely borrowed from Pammal K.Sambandham, the no-no to marriage stuntman, doctor heroine, watch in the intestine...only thing is PKS was laudable, fun, and a clean family entertainer :)

Are me pan Marathi aahe pan tujha saarkha Ghhhhatheee nahi!

Akshay made everyone laugh!
Even Arabs and Europeans who saw the movie liked his Casanova image and his style to make everyone tickle their funny bones.

I think u should be proud instead of Akshay as the only Megastar who can talk good Marathi after Mr. Amitabh Bacchhan.

Marathe asun kay upyog jar Mughalchech paay dhunaar

SRK gave his glasses away to a Pak boy in Dubai just after 26/11. Still im sure u like him huh?

as in the movie, makers of such trash should be sued.. these big banners make tashan, cc2c, Ki, and get away with anything...
everything in KI was said that the script demanded it.. hello... where was the script..
anything that big banners too is called classy.. even though it was absolute trash n cheap as in KI..
content was no different than any b grade movie..
akshay n kareena have '"worked with hollywood actors" .. hello.. is this called working with them.. such movies have just degraded our own talent and ability ...
entertainment is being taken to new lows by the big banners.. kareena's shortest clothes or amrita's n kareena's bikinis aren't going to save movies.. nor can akshay's jaded cool dude acting...
strike was better than seeing such movies...

he is a flop actor as seen in 3 consecutive disasters CC2C, Tasveer and
now Kambhakt Ishq....his earlier hits like Welcome and SIK were helped by competent actors like Nana, Anil Kapoor and Om Puri....the moment he started playing a more lead role, all his films have started flopping again.

Believe it or not, a KAMBAKKHT ISHQ mania has swept across the nation. The film has opened to an overwhelming response and at the end of Day 1, it was clear that the film would surpass the opening weekend business of SINGH IS KINNG and at places, would be at par with GHAJINI, especially in North India. In fact, the film could well turn out to be Akshay's biggest opener so far. While the industry response is mixed [like always… what's new about it?], the audience feedback is very positive.

no film's fate can be decided on end of day 1....its your stupidity and blind fanaticism for Chakki that makes u think that this is going to be a blaockuster...anyway in all reviews (well most) his acting has been criticized so also the film..no point in having a crap film becomign a hit...isn't that the complain abt srk's films? when we talk of srk's blockbuster status u start talking abt acting and when we point out miserable acting of chakki in his films u start pointing to the box office status of the film..first practice what u preach.

billu was made for 28 crores and collected 35 crores...not a hit but average...but look at the disasters of chakki like tashan(mega disaster costing the producer 50 crores loss), CC2C(30 crores loss), Tasveer(20 crores loss) and mostly KI(30 crores loss)...overall Chakki has cost his producers a loss of 100 crores within a year whereas not a single film of SRK costs a loss to its producer..got the picture? loser.

Shahrukh buys media people to write stories about his "success" and gullible people believe him. After sometime he will just be a pathetic & pitiable loser.

Jumbo was a small budget film, tasveer was 18 crore film, not a big budget, the only failure that was big budget of akki is CC2C but then again it was highest grossing film until KI.

I mean really, is Akshay kumar knowing what he is doing? after Singh is King and Chandni Chowk it was although expected, but believing on the intelligence of Kareena Kappor, I beleived that the movie may do better, but Akshay has turned into money monkey After Namste London
