The Akshay Kumar-starrer grossed Rs 46 crore at the box office in its opening weekend with Rs 32 crore coming from the domestic box office and the rest from the overseas market, Eros International said in a statement. The film, released in about 2,000 screens world-wide, cost Rs 75 crore.
The film’s overseas collections amount to almost 30% of the total collections. This was partly because it was released in the US on one of the most popular bank holiday weekends. Total collections from the US stood at Rs 3.36 crore, while it collected Rs 1.44 crore from the UK. The box office collection from Pakistan, where 15 prints were released, stood at Rs 48 lakh.
Kambakkht Ishq continues to do well in the weekdays too with occupancy figures touching about 50%. “Akshay Kumar has a lot of fans who will want to see the film,” says Vishal Kapur, COO, Fun Cinemas.
The music of the film has done well too, according to Biren Ghose, executive director of Eros International Films which also owns the film’s music under its Eros Music label.

Guyz and Galz .. I have watched the film yet, but i thank you for leting me about it .. not going to see it now ... BUT only for Kareena and her bikini ... might have second thoughts :)
Seriously what d hel is wrong. Such a crap of a movie. Nothing wrth watching. Akshay has lost his edge. for him quantity matters over quality. Kareena's a waste too. she deserves better. Rest of d cast is also innoticble. The story is total shit. I mean what were the people thinking making such a disaster. Please don't watch it for ur own sake.
This movie is pathetic. You do not want to waste money on such a disgusting movie. I repent on wasting my money. So, I wanna help others save some bucks :) . There is no head-no tail to the story. The songs are rubbish. Why the hell do they create such movies and fool the audiences? I must say that the critic here generously gave the movie a 1.5 rating. I would have given none.

Kambakkht Ishq is doing extraordinary business all over. The film started phenomenal in the North and excellent elsewhere but by afternoon and late afternoon shows the film is recording extraordinary collections practically all over the country.
The media reviews are Positive on the film (except raja or baja sen)but the paying public seems to be giving it the thumbs up.
and the collections so far the film looks set to cross the 25 and 26 crore nett weekend collections of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Singh Is Kinng respectively. IT IS A WHOLESOME ENTERTAINMENT and is not an ART movie??

A critic's job is just to review the movie, not to motivate ppl to ignore it ?Some RIVALS of akshay kumar purchase these so called media or reviewers, to TARNISH the image of the Rival SUPERSTARS. I THINK THIS RAJA sen n Chandrima Pal needs to be FIRED for this? He has made a MOCKERY of himself?? Go and watch the movie, and enjoy it? Read indiafm REVIEW for an HONEST review?

bhai ramdev you are absolutely wrong . this bakarrrrr movie .i have watched movie and its my review not critic . most of people are disappointed by movie .
