nice way of saving a movie thorugh fake reports. a production house always cal its movie a blockbuster.if we go the same way then we will hav to believe that RNBDJ has recorded 180crores gross till date and still running.what a joke!

After watching the movie, I really wonder whether the director made it purposefully mediocre, if not how can he show total disregard to the audience intelligence
On Wednesday, Aamir Khan's Ghajini became the first Hindi movie to gross Rs 200 crore at the box office worldwide. The film grossed over 'Rs 162 crore in the domestic market and Rs 39 crore' overseas, The Times of India reported. While the producer was evidently ecstatic, trade pundits were in the 'I told you so' mode. "The film was strong from Day One. It has been galloping like a one-horse race and, in my estimate, it will cross the Rs-250-crore (gross) mark very easily," the paper quoted trade consultant Amod Mehra as having said. Ghajini released with 1200 digital and analog prints across the country. According to the paper, the film has also reportedly made Rs 4 crore from gaming rights, Rs 21 crore for satellite rights and Rs 10 crore for home video and music rights. If all goes well, Ghajini might just overtake Gadar – Ek Prem Katha as the highest domestic Bollywood earner.

Chandni Chowk To China has grossed 21 crore nett including paid previews over its first weekend mainly thanks to the good business in Delhi/NCR and Punjab. the weekend grosses in Delhi/UP and East Punjab are actually higher than films like Om Shanti Om, Welcome and Race due to Akshay Kumar's huge following in the area.
Delhi/UP has grossed just over 5 crore and East Punjab grossed 2.30 crore including paid previews. Other parts of the country saw just average business. Mumbai circuit was around 7 crore while CI did nearly 60 lakhs including paid previews.
The weekend business is the sixth highest ever after Ghajini (33 cr), Singh Is Kinng (26 cr), Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (25 cr) and Om Shanti Om, Race (22 cr each)
