useless anil kapoor

Anil Kapoor is all fluff. He has no substance. He has been in hindi cinema because of his kapoor family name and nothing else. He will never understand what real passion is. And hes parading around just so he gets contacts for hollywood movies and I hope he never gets any.

What is so special about the Oscars???
by Rizwan Khan on Feb 27, 2009 04:40 PM

Anil Kapoor has sold his soul the way his is acting he has no dignity!!

What is so special about the oscars? Is it because its given by the americans?

I think indians in general are subconsiousally still slaves to the white person. That explains this fascination with any recognition that comes from the west.

Its like running after them, if they give recognition its like, YES WE HAVE CONQUERED THE WORLD!!

This whole saga is just shamefull!

Gulzar's name left out
by mudamosi on Feb 27, 2009 03:29 PM

>>Resul Pookutty shared an Oscar for sound editing with two colleagues
similarly Gulzar and Rahman shared the awards. I don't know why rediff, while mentioning Pookutty, doesn't pay attention to Gulzar

Anil Kapoor is the most pathetic actor ever born whether it is looks, voice, performance or dialogue delivery. With pitiable copy of Bacchan in KBC, he's done nothing except giving a pee-ing performance.

Any tom Dick or Harry can claim anything. But the viewers know the truth.

he is best. Medals and other things are secondary. He acts well and conveys stories told in fine way. For example, His movies Meri Jung, Saheb, Beta, one other movie where his wife sells him. Really nice. I would say better than Big B.

Indians will always be slavish
by samba on Feb 27, 2009 10:20 AM

Not slavish my friends the actual word should be "beggars cannot be choosers". We will always be shown as beggars and from the city of joy to "slum dog whatever" we are poor and we third class citizens. Only the westerners have come from heaven and reformed us. We cannot do anything our own. If we form a religion they say it is not good. When they present it is very good. If you see carefully we use to perform yogas here it was not popular but when it was made in America and britain now they it gives them mental calm and they some how have attained peace of mind. In almost all the cities there are yoga classes. This is what will happen to us. If we go and learn yoga then that will be the irony. When we are Indians and in India we don't learn it but when we are in America we adopt to whatever they say. Again the saying "beggars cannot be choosers" holds perfectly right.
Even if the movie is depicted as slums oriented what are we doing nothing. The moment the plane lands in mumbai any westerners sees is slums. All the developmental stuff such as chandrayan are not even considered in this MSNBC channel here. What they are saying is this country(India) cannot even take care of the people in slums they are thinking of moon and mars.
Don't be surprised if some day they discover that the whole of the western philosophy is based on vedas and gita but it has been presented in a western style.
When we preac
