Future of Indias film indutry is in shifting to English, to be global in nature.
Indian professionals, scietists and thinkers have succeeded asnd recognised when they started doing their bwork and expressing their talent in a globally recognised language, that is english. Indian film industry has to come out of the its over dependence of hindi and regional languages and has to shift to English to be global, for more exposure, for survival and to show case its originality, before outsiders export their products for our large englsh enabled audience. English is the language which has won the battle of dominance in world and when we adopt it we too are part of that. Otherwise bollywood will face the fate of Spanish, French, German or rabic language movies. English is the common language for Indians and it is foreighn language to every Indian, love it, marry it, reproduce it and make it your own to succeed.
English is the global medium of communication for the new millenium. make it yours, Bollywood, then surive and succeed. Make Indiam movies with Indian stories, Indian stars, Indian settings, Indian songs, Indian technology in Indian English. This is the way to go, get recognised and to success.
Frieda has carried herself with so much grace, she is today's woman and represents young India very well. Compare her interviews with Aishwarya's and you will know. This girl is very down to earth, may be not as talented to get so much attention, but then it's her time, give her a break, let her enjoy while it lasts!

You're so right Anamika. And I've never ever heard Freida fake an accent be it at the Oscars, on Jay Leno or anywhere else. She is real. Comparing Aishwarya's attitude on Hollywood appearances shows just how pathetic and attention-hungry Ash really is.

Yea..Aish was such a bore in the Pink Panther moview as well. For the first time I thought she was ugly on screen.
I feel sorry for rohan antao. If story reported by mumbaimirror is true then shame on frieda pinto ditching her boyfriend for fame and glamour. They even had a secret wedding. He was in full support for her.Of course this is the usual trend,if male rises to fame he'll never forget or ditch his flame, but if a female gets fame she will definately extinguish her flame like frieda did cos she knows that having a mediocre boyfriend will taint her image and now she has higher chances of having multirich boyfriends and may be a husband in future. But i guess frieda herself is sooooo average looking that she'll not bag intresting roles in bollywood, maybe she'll work behind the scenes, but frieda,if what rohan says is true then u r a horrible human beign.

yeah,ur right adding wat bradd pitt did to jenni aniston.Anyways, frieda got a role in woody allens movie, shes got herself a bussiness manager also,so shes on high, all will foret about rohan antao.wise decision made by frieda to work start from hollywood, idhar waise bhi oosko bhav nahi milne wala, but lets c wat kinda roles she gets, all n all as a proud indian i would say that frieda should be successful cos thats good for our countrys image, but after wat ahappened to shekhar kapoor i doubt it they would let any desi guy/gal reach to extraordinary heights.I was also reading some other blogs where people around the world were saying that if they vote for the worst odcar awards show(awars getters i.e) then it would be the 81st academy awards!!

That's not a story by Mumbai Mirror alone. It is a story which was first reported long time back here in the UK. After all money and fame changes even the smallest of persons.

dude!! what exactly do you mean by "even though she is a christian she kept up indian culture"?? I am christian, brought up in maharashtra and I do respect my culture alot. I bet you wldn't have said this if it was Aishwarya or anyone else who was of any other religion. Sorry dude, but u jus are too prejudice and presumptuous. I'd suggest, research and then talk and stop generalising!!
