I agree. this is what hungry people do when they see a piece of rotten bread. We Indians have gone down to such a level that just because this film is made by a 3rd grade British director (who directed flops like Sunshine, The beach, etc) we are going head over heels to show our solidarity but in reality we do not give a dime to the slum dwellers. Nobody gives. I also dont give but I dont like to act as if I am so proud that they some white skinned IDIOT cared to show some brown skinned masala film.

they need money to run their business and now US is on bankruptcy, they are coming to India to bankroll their films,...get local actors at cheap money and make billions...but atleast they are professionally organised setup unlike the bollywood which still runs like a kabbadi ka dukan...

Do you really know anything about movies, or do you just spout your nonsense where and when you like it? Danny Boyle, a "3rd grade" director? He's one of the most brilliant directors of our times, having made the masterpiece called Trainspotting.

I too agree...the standards of Western movies have really gone down. I watched Slumdog Millionaire yesterday and found the movie pretty mediocre. There is a lot of unnecessary media hype about the movie which it rightfully doesn't deserve. The world has reached a stage where quality and depth in intellect is in a stagnation point and the ones that are crowned for the coveted prize are based on popular demand/popular verdict which is necesarily not the best in terms of quality and intellect.

If you dont like the movie or idea it is ok.Why you are abusing a 22 year old girl.grow up friend.
Wish them all success and credit to the producers for treating all the kids as equals and letting them share the limelight. Hope they enjoy themselves.
