So far this is the most imaginative movie I think, but in terms of story, character development and creating a fitting climax the film fares much lesser than Pathfinder, which has almost the same storyline.
Only that Avatar takes us to the future, whereas Pathfinder took us to the past.
And the idiots are wrongly pronouncing 'avatar'! Somebody should tell the wise guys Avatar is pronounced 'Avataar' and not 'aavaator'!
people are not lying about nausea. I also felt it. I guess it doesn't happen to all. I also ended up with a horrible headache. Not sure whether it was due to special effects or because 3 hours is too long for an English movie. Still the movie is worth watching. It is one of the classics. Even if you watch movies only once in 10 years, don't miss this one.
Saw this in IMAX 3D, simply awesome!!!!! words will never be able to describe the spectacle, we havent seen anything like this before... believe me, no DVD will ever be able to match the 3D magic.. A MUST WATCH....

The stories and charcters in the kerala filims are about human beings not super mans and other repeated stupid things the artists are working for making good filims not making superhits
Caught this movie yesterday ... and Avatar is a definite watch. This article makes it look too good which is true about its Special fxs, the story is slightly stretched and the the 3 hour time is un-needed. Barring the last few minutes when its bows and arrows Vs high tech weapons, the film is amazing!
