wat...it cannot be better than dasavatharam, the amount of effort that had gone in and the expertise employed.

it is better than Dasavatharam. In Dasavatharam first 10 min movie is good remaining part is avg. But in magadheera 2nd half full is excellent

India - almost every 3rd or 2nd movie in tamil is dubbed and released in telugu. the movies are remade from telugu are some shady action movies or some general family stories. telugu industry is not very different from hindi where hardly any off topic/different genre movies come out

before commenting about Telugu movies..dont forget that 70% of vijay movies are Telugu remakes.

To David - yes 70% of vijay's movies are telugu movies. thats why i said all the shady action movies in telugu are copied in tamil. During the last few yrs none of vijay's movies have done well in TN A centres ( major cities)

Why are u jumping on cloud nine just because u think madadheera is better than sivaji. Telugu indistry dubs /remakes nearly 50-60% of tamil movies and songs and ur hormone level shoots up at the fact aht sivaji is crap. sivaji is a commercial entertainer and magadheera doesnt look like one. So they belong to different genres. So dont compare apples and oranges. Sivaji had immense technical expertise and extravaganza.

if u r an andhrite u r bound to get headache as u hardly have talent to make thought provokative movies. So a suddent influx of knowldege and philosophy will trigger some unexplored nerval paths which wud have triggered headache in you.

Hey BLOODHOUND i agree some movies are remade from tamil movies only 10% to 30% that's it but now the % level has decreased... Now Telugu movies are remade in large number in tamil movies there are so many in recent days.... ok
No one is banning movies. It is only theatre sharing arrengement.
Normally movies will run 30 percent empty after third week of release.if theatre owners take them off within two weeks no local producer will be able to survive.
Theatre owners in Bangalore IF get chance, will run everey NEW movie for first week ONLY for 100 percent collections, becuase at least 10 new movies of 6 languages get released here every week.Sothey have more choice. Many times such incidents happened.
So karnataka film chamber worked out theatre sharing formula that new movies can be released in max 21 theatres in Bangalore. If someone knowingly breaks the rule he must be punished.Initially Ghajni (Hindi) movie ran into trouble by breaking the formula now this movie. Some people are higlighting it just to promote the movies.
I watched it, special effects are OK. It is nothing in comparison with Gandhada Gudi (Dr. Raj Kumar's movie), Gandhada Gudi had potential to go all the way to Oscar since it had the best screen play ever, story and special effects. Due to lack of lobby it didn't make it. A wasted chance.
As far as this movie, it was a good try, will be lucky if it makes to the 100 days.

One other thing here, I really couldn't understand anything in this movie. I was not sure what language they were speaking in.
It was bit crazy I should say. I think I covered the entire movie within 45 minutes or so.
If you have the patience and nothing else to do, it is probably a good 3 to 4 hr show
