According to Minister J. Geeta Reddy, Only 16 theaters in entire Andhra Pradesh is having all facilities according to Government rules and regulations... that means, one has to understand how our Government Officials are giving permissions to Multiplexes and other theaters in entire AP. That means lot of Black money is going under the table.
Please God please save the people who are going to see the movies in Theaters...
The ban sought by political representative on screening of the film on grounds that it attracted huge viewership is an eye opener on how they are neck deep in filthy pressure tactics on their adverseris although it was purely an administrative matter.
Take any instance, they put pressures police to terriorise law ful citizens, they shild corrupt, antinationals, anti social elements, extract bribes from law ful service providers, waste tax payers money on unaccountable jobs in the name of public service and what not.

No one is banning movies. It is only theatre sharing arrengement.
Any movie will run 30 percent emply after third week of release.if theatre owners take them off within two weeks no local producer will be able to survive. Theatre owners in Bangalore IF get chance, will run everey NEW movie for first week ONLY for 100 percent collections, becuase at least 10 new movies of 6 languages get released here.
So karnataka film chamber worked out theatre sharing formula.if someone knowingly breaks it he must be punished.
Rediff will highlight only such paltry local reports and they dont seem to have any reporters outside Bangalore or Mumbai.

pal you are 100% correct. people can not spend money to watch monkeys for 3 hours. from the begining itself kannada heros are very ugly and funny. those type of characters you can not find in telugu or tamil cinemas even as a side roles. pitty on kannada industry.
1. None os the theatres in AP / India are safe incase of a fire accident, including IMAX. See the crowd at Hydrabad IMAX only with one escape route. 2. How the govt is allowing these theatres to survive? If you are capable take action against Theatres owners, not against cinema producers. 3. Botsa Sathyanarayana is very famous for volkswagan company incident. Where that money has gone? What is his credibility to talk about the safety of people. 4. There are no suitable candidates in his district to head any political positions other than He, his brother, his wife etc. 5. this kind of people survive only under corrupt environment currently existing in AP.

before banning magadheeara, they should ban so many things which are killing people. lorries and trucks are making so many accidents and killing people because of liquor. now ban the liquor. and ban government officials who has given licence for those theatres. or arrent the court judze who has given stay order against theatre seeze. shame on bothsa and congress party. shameless and fools government.
The movie Magadheera is really good, certain scenes are really praise worthy, but these kannada Producers rather than making better movies docus all their time on how to stop others' success, many non- telugites see it here in Bangalore because its good, if some very good kannada movie comes they ll definitely watch it, Its these stupid producers who out of greed resort to such things
a film because of stampede!!. I think the minister has lost his mind. Kannada Movie Mungaru Malle was such a big hit that audience who did not understand watched it multiple times because it was well made film. Instead of making good films kannada producers want other films to be banned. Stupid morrons
