Ayan is the adaption of Suba's (Dialogue writer of Ayan) Novel titled "Avan Avan Mattumae" ..meaning "Its him... him Alone".. of mid ninty's.The Novel came even before the hollywood flick "Catch Me if You Can"...The movie give the live action to the successful novel and really a worth watch. Its true that it has the scenes similar to Blood diamond, Casino royale, etc. But the story demands it and those are all exactly matches with the flow of the story....Dont listen to the half boil marons talking here...do enjoy the Movie and its worth watch along with your family...

Catch me if you can is the novel written based on the real life character "Abignale Sr." who is notorouis for Cheque fradulent and called himself as a pilot in "Pan America Airlines" in early 50's and his case is world renouned fraud case and as a end of the case he was released unconvicted. ...and last the private bank which he conspired with fraudlent cheque transactions offered him the Consultancy job on Customer information security. Subha might be inspired with this case and might have written this novel and...i'm not saying Spielberg copied Shuba's Novel. Speilberg is wonderful director who had give the Real evet inspirations such as"The Terminal".., Schindler's List...Munich...Catch me if you can....
This movie adapted many scenes from Catch me if you can, Blood diamond, Casino Royale, Bourne Ulitimatum etc... Anyway the movie will be big hit... just because this is new for major tamil audience.. But good movie lovers, give this a miss...

Vijay is a sin for Tamil film industry. Because his movies like Thirupatchi, Sivakasi found some commercial success, most of the films started to follow this crap masala formula. God should save us from directors like Perarasu

HEY GUEST AYAN IS A WONDERFUL UNBELIEVABLE MOVIE.IF U DONT LIKE THIS MOVIE U WATCH GUD FOR NOTHING MOVIES LIKE NAAN KADAVUL,PITHAMAGAN,VAARANAM AAYIRAM,ABIYUM NAANUM,MOZHI
I saw the movie yesterday. Its a slickly packaged movie, pizzaz cinematography, racy first half and expected climax. What is an otherwise irritant is the lag in the first 20 odd minutes in the first part of Second half of the movie. The new villian is a welcome change, but after sometime becomes repititive in his reportoire of emotions. Prabhu as the calm senior who guides the brain n brawny Deva (Surya) is a noticeable class act. He reminds us of Shivaji Sir (latter part of his career) with subtle acting. I only wish if he can cut down his weight, more roles will come his way. Tamanna is Sprite all the way - a refreshing change and more than adept at filling the slot of the charming heroine. All in all a wonderful, racy and entertaining weekend movie. Now a small doubt - Will Aamir act in the remake, if so...Surya has raised the bar this time around (am not mentioning the six pack alone).
I felt “Catch Me If You Can” was totally damaged with this kinda adaptation movies. Better remake of Legendary Hollywood movies would do justice for the original as well as the adapted ones. AYAN isn’t worth a watch.

Murgadoss will defenitely remake another Hollywood movie, wait for it,he is busy with Hollywood DVDs
"Thee" - a film (forgive us Edison sir) topped the ranking chart in TN's most popular TV Channel, now the only place where you can get a glimpse of the movie. So neglect the publicity factor. (Damn!! Dont fall for it)
Ayan movie is no more than a nonsense. Most of the people who say it is average, when interrogated(?) cry out "Did you watch Villu/ thee/ Padikkadhavan?" I am sorry i didnt watch any of it, but if that apple stinks it stinks, i dont want to research from till how far that staunch is felt.
I am not sure how old is Pavithra here, or how mad is she about Surya BUT please movie is about story telling. Tamil Cinema is just waking up from a long sleep, please dont put it back to STARDOM MANIA coma. And yeah you owe me and my friends Rs 720.
