Shakti was a crap film. You can sit back and laugh at the it. It also had the funniest death scene when Amitabh gets shot by Dilip. Both were competing to outdo each other's over acting. This so called Great Dilip Kumar refused to share a scene with Naseer udin Shah in Karma and Subhash Ghai had to shot their scenes separately. Guys stop getting nostalgic about a past that never existed.

thanks for some sane inputs among otherwise crap comments am reading in this area. We must appreciate good work!
Akshay kumar very recently said in interview that there is only one king and taht is Big B, EVEN at age of 67 he commands respect and given some memorable film. srk ddlj will never compare with deewar,sholay,amar akabar anthony,trishul,kala patahar and many more i never enjoy any of srk movies twice, but i still watch shakti, deewar etc i have forgotten how many times i have seen these movies and i am still watching

yaa u r true i have also just came out watching this movie. its brilliant one of the amit uncle's great performance. i was amazed, i am fully blanked
The Last Lear is a treat to watch. Rituparna ghosh is omong the only few sensitive directors we have. And Amitabh, what more u can say abt him. The more we see him the more vintage he looks like. And the last lear is surely one of his best. Actually indian cinema dealing with such matured subject is an indication of its all out grwoing potential. In a creative field versatility is must and movie like The last lear dictates our creative intellectualism to the world cinema, apart from being marked as a song/dance/drama oriented movie circuit. Great watch
why compare AB with SRK..compare him with Dilip Kumar...when AB was doing shit movies like Coolie or Mard or Shahenshah, Dilip was acting in superb movies like Mashaal, Vidhaata, Karma, Mazdoor...compare DK's acting in these movies with AB's acting...even in Shakti, where AB and DK acted together, DK totally overshadowed AB...AB gets support purely due to his large support base from Hindi belt covering 7 states of India.

who said you that D.K overshadow amit uncle. i have also seen the movie DILP KUMAR ji was no near to amitabh class,he was simlpy overshadow by amit ji.you are not only to see shakti i have also seen this movie.

You know biasness to anything is bad. and your biasness to a particular actor is speaking for that in every line. Shakti was a very good movie. Amitabh role in it had some negetive shades and Dilip kumar in true way was the protagonist. So it is nothing new that most of the people will be moved by Dilip kumars role. And surely he did very well. But amitabh was perhaphs in a better form. to me he was just unstoppable. the franstrations and helplessness and agony that he expressed in the movie were just great.

THE REMARK SHOWS THAT MENTIONED DILIPKUMAR FILS ARE MORE WORSE THAN BIG B'S DILIKUMAR HAVING VERY LIMITATIONS IN HIS ACTING..HE DON'T WORK LIKE BIG B, ASK HIM TO DO ROLE LIKE DEEWAR,SHAHENSHAH,OR DON...SO DON'T COMPARE BIG B WITH ANY BODY

I hope this film is better than Rituparno's last few movies. He has lost it since the days of Bariwali. Guys, life is beyond AB v/s SRK. Please leave actors out and talk about the film. Film is a director's baby, criticise/congratulate him for the film and not the actors. Both SRK & AB have done great as well as crap movies.
