I strongly believe that you have written the review for this movie without keepin in mind lakhs of middle class people. Im talkin abt typical middle class people for whom buying a 10 lakh car is a dream and equally is going to foreign trip. He add one thing on the list after he experienced cause he never expected love from anyone, which he found in the lithuanian russian girl. U shudnt compare bucket list and dasvidaniya. The only aleration that i wud suggest for this movie wud be its name, Only if it was as catchy as the name The bucket List, this movied wud have attracted many many youngsters. When i first heard abt the movie dasvidaniya, i wasnt keen on watching it as the name itself did not make an appeal to me. but after havin watched bucket list and our very own dasvidaniya, i wud give the latter 10 extra stars.
The movie was truly a masterpiece .. and the character was really well played. Clearly the author of this review has lost his mind. I would give it a 4.5/5
I think Dasvidaniya is a great Movie, I had read this review a long time back and didnt watch it for long, Yeasterday I watched 4 movies on my comp, ghajini(average), Rab ne bana di Jodi, Dostana and Dasvidaniya, I guess Rediff must seriously consider Mr. elvis's Job. It's bullshit what he has written, Dude there are more than 150 Million in India who havent travelled on anything more than a cycle, I can give you an open bet a new car would be the first thing on atleast 100 Million people. Just coz you have travelled abroad doesnt mean everyone has, I practically dont see you understand that the Movie is about a common man in INDIA not in USA/UK.
About the film, Great moments; Owning his first car, proposal scene to neha, learning guitar, beaten up by the girls and his reaction to that, singing the song to his mum, and the conclusion....very well concieved film Certainly a collectors item(because I collect and have over 2000 original movies) For every one who has seen this movie, at the end you go into a mode and think about your 10 things you would want to do, and for those who havent... watch it...!

you are absolutely right, movie "Dasvidaniya" is damn good, its an uinque movie. I believe there was realty in the movie no fiction nothing.. And Vinay pathak has done very well in emotional scenes, his acting is superb. Everyone should watch it, bcoz of these kind of stupid reviews we dont watch it in theatres...but its an movie to be watched in theatres..
Its so real, something u can feel it. All characters are real and it's one of the best films I have ever seen. Sorry rediff, I don't agree this time :(
