Worth the money
by B Subramani on Nov 08, 2008 08:51 AM  | Hide replies

I watched this movie before reading this review and let me tell you I enjoyed it thoroughly. Not a single moment was boring and everyone including the non-descript bank employees did their jobs well. Atleast I would not like to miss out on a good movie by reading this reviewer's views. It appears that this reviewer must have taken loan and unable to pay the EMI!

malaika's trampish act
by SK on Nov 08, 2008 06:56 AM

Malaika is one non actress who trys to stay in the limelight by wearing almost zero to no clothes. honestly she acts like a tramp. So she has a slim and trim bod, but apart from that she comes acrtoss as really fake and put-on. She looks into the camera seductively and has the most strange facial expressions and twisted pouts, I this is acting for her.Mother of 2, wife she would do well as a pole/bar dancer, Ugh

Who is the CEO of rediff?, ask the Rediff CEO to suspend this editor from giving the reviews.

3 stars to sanju baba!
by Sachin Duggal on Nov 08, 2008 12:20 AM

hi..i read this review today morning on rediff and had actually booked tickets in advance, was a bit disapointed after reading the review, but had to watch it, so went without any expectations..and was pleasantly surprised..the movie is genuine (unlike other remakes or copies of hollywood), the characters are well sketched out and sanju baba completely rocked like always. The movie has a message and the intention of the plot is good..and i actually laughed more than i did in golmaal returns..believe me guys!I would say that this movie deserves atleast 3 stars! Go for it!

Bad Review
by elroy serrao on Nov 07, 2008 10:20 PM

I think the review per se is "bad". After all reviewers must know by now that searching for logic in a hindi movie is like searching for a needle in a haystack.
As far as the whole logic behind "loans" goes, you would be surprised that people do take loans in precisely this manner. Just because you won't doesn't mean that other people also won't.
So hammering a hindi movie for lack of logic is not really doing your job Mr. Reviewer , but merely using a convenient tried and tested scape goat to earn your bread and butter.

PS: Did you actually watch the entire movie ? Coz I could probably write a similar review by just watching the promos, seeing the poster.

this review is a hit
by anshu on Nov 07, 2008 08:56 PM  | Hide replies

the best part of this review is that it is completed in 2 - 3 minutes and you understand what it means, not like the ones that raja sen writes. Well done mister keep it up and see if you are able to replace raja sen asap.

Majority of Hindi comedies don't make sense anyway!!!
by G on Nov 07, 2008 08:33 PM

Reviewer writes..."so you sit through movie which fails to make much sense".

This is nothing new in Hindi cinema. Most film-makers think that a majority of the Indian population prefers "leave-your-brain-behind" comedies with big stars than intelligent comedies, and the makers are too happy to churn out such movies.

Can we hope for a new generation Hrishikesh Mukherjee any time soon?
