"Skip the movie"-bluntly says the reviewer. What contribution has the reviewer done in making the movie? None. But after the hard work is done, come out these self acclaimed experts with their laptops in ac cabins.
Whole audience does not have the reviewer's sensibility. Just a fraction of it. Which means that all of us like some movies. To each his own. How does it give anyone the right to publish his opinion on the movie blatantly in a public forum (newspapers, websites). Each one has his/her own bias too. It is not right to mention anyone's opinion in the media. Media's job stops at reporting.
Of course the reviewer does not care about how hundreds of people got together to make a movie. He doesnt care about what happens if his reviews stop a million people from going to theatres. Nobody has the right to express his opinion in a public forum. Govt should movie reviews until 2 weeks of a movie's release. Till that time atleast the producer might have recovered his cost or minimised his losses.

why dont you propose akhil bhartiya picture bachao fund where everyone will contribute and that money will go to so called hard working poor producers...

That's a bad argument, Sane Guru. People should not have to pay for a bad product due to lack of information. You are saying there should be no product reviews, so that someone who made a faulty product gets his money back from customers who did not deserve to spend their hard-earned money on a faulty product.
Why should I go and watch a bad movie so that some producer makes money? Movie-making is a risky business. If you are doing it to make millions, you should also risk losing millions.
Purchases around the world from time immemorial have been based on opinions and recommendations. You go to a doctor who your friends, colleagues or family believe is good, no?
As for media, a good movie won't flop because of a bad review, and vice versa. And everyone knows it is the opinion of one person. And in general, a good movie will get a lot of good reviews, and a bad movie will get a lot of bad reviews.
I saw EMI - it's a lousy movie even discounting for all the logical flaws listed here, and looking just at entertainment value.

I agree with you. People should not be made to pay for a bad product. In creative products, what is good for you, maybe bad for others and vice versa. If you like it take it, if you dont, then dont buy.
Similarly I would rather go by friends or family's views... or someone who's views I trust.
In all the cases, there are people who have different sensibilities, tastes, mood, etc. Therefore it is not right for one person to state his views about a product publicly. HIs sensibilities, tastes, biases, etc are not shared by everyone, but a miniscule percentage.

Sane Guru is not sane. He is giving his opinion on the reviewer and movie reviews in a public forum while arguing against the reviewer's right to give his opinion.

If I write an article its a public forum. A reply is not in a public forum. Now if you dont understand that, you have reached your height of stupidity. This Guest needs to be kicked out.

friend... I would highly recommend this movie.. awsome plot. Dont go by the reviews... may be the makers of EMI have not given money to these reviewers
In recent , we have seen so many comedy movies wihout any sense. But, In this movie , i vital issue of bank loans , recovery of loans and use credits cards have been raised and these are related with our daily life. Music of this also nice. Dance of Malika is also well. Sanju has given is best performence as shattaebhai.
Is this a review or what?? I think the reviewer thniking to write the review in EMI... No story outline, no comments about music...Might be he kept all these for next installment of EMI....I think he is doin it for the first time...I would like to ask the reviewer one thing....when u went for the movie what didi u expect....did u expect a real life story with all actual facts or a typical bolywood masala movie?? then why are u after those bank details?? Reviewing doesn't mean finding faults only....u shd appreciate good thing also....unless u don't have that attitude.... u poor reviewer....u r miles to go...
