I watched this film and compared to Paheli which was also Ghost based,Bhoothnath is a fairly sensible film.It is actually made for kids to learn lesson and grow big in lives on their own credit. The love and respect for some one unknown can be more than the one in blood relation. The theme of the film is not just to make people scared but rather that parents should always think twice before denying their kids statement. I would love to watch this film again and specially the songs are quite hilarious. Good work.
i think he has no idea to comment on the movie. this movie has given many moral to add one- where Bhoothnath refuses to help the kid in the hurdle race but instead gives him a valuable lesson of life.and many more.why this man has not mentioned the good points bcoz a good critic mentions both the pros and cons.it was a fun movie.at last i would like to say he should make a film which will turn out to be the biggest failure of the year.
Bhootnath is a highly entertaining movie .I would not rate it one of the best but its watchable.Amitabh and the kid were good in there performances.The movie is high on emotions and fun.Its a family oriented movie.Srk was in a special role nothing else so it wasnt a srk movie thats why i guess the reviewer gave it 2 stars.The film has grossed over 12 cr in its first week.

The movie is a wholesome entertainer for teh family which teaches kids right values too.A kid movie does not necessarily mean all laughs (even if forced) and no message.C'mon grow up Raj Sen. You need to have your head re-formatted before u sit on judging others or others' works. You are simply not up to it.
bhoothnath doesn't disappoint at all in the first half...in fact its really good till the u=intermission. the antics of the kid and the ghost do manage to bring a smile to your face...its towards the third quarter of the movie that things turn wishy washy... the melodrama and the scenes which came straight out of Baghban are not that entertaining...but overall its a good watch...
Bad Luck. A movie is a commodity developed putting in millions of rupees, but at last its fate depends on a common man buying a 20 rs. ticket. If he does not buy it the movie flops, if he does it becomes a hit.
am i really watching rediff.com .. how come raja sen has given only 2 stars to movie which has SRK in it ? strange .. SRK's contract with rediff expired it seems ?

A very entertaining movie indeed. Amitabh Bachan is a natural with kids. He proves once again that he is indeed a superstar. Aman Siddique is a very good child artist. His mischief in school makes recollect your school days. His innocence and the way in which he befriends a ghost is very touching. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

Horrible movie...with a same "ghisa pita" 2nd half...the director should have continued with the theme of the entertaining 1st half...
