only two weeks more?? WOW! Ulaganayagan rocks. I will pay Rs.1000 to watch a Kamal movie, rather than spending 50 bucks for a crap Vijay movie.

There is nobody to act like Kamal He is a legend.He has taken movies like Anbe Sivam.Who dares to take movies like that.He has thought about the concept.Please respect Kamal.He is a key actor who has made others to look up tamil cinema.Please we should not fight here for anybody.Rajinikanth is known for stylish acting,kamal is known for versatile acting.Both are legends.Dont fight for anybody.It is one's personal interset to spent 1000 for a movie.Nobody has rights to comment on anybody.Just tell the positive and negative and not this much.This is too much.Please stop here. This is enough.
I watched the movie yesterday.Kuruvi will be known for its stunts in the 2nd half.Vijay's performance in the movie is good.Vijay's dance movements in the movie is ultimate.Dont expect always a movie like Gilli.Movies should be different from each other. Kuruvi is a different masala movie,but sure to win the masses.Hats of to vijay,who has carried himself so well in the movie.Hats off to the Darani,who has taken a different issue and made it masala.Hats off to all the artists who has struggled for the stunts and the 2nd half of the movie.Hats off to the whole crew.A request to Vijay,you have already proved yourself in masala movies.Please act in a different movie, with different character. Please act in a full length comedy movie.Comedy will suit you.Try it out or any other different character.Please act in a movie without any masala in it (no opening song and no masala scenes)and prove yourself that you can do movies other than masala.

i watched movie' kuruvi' one first day of releaase. first half is good when story is in malaysia, second half is boring, full of stunts and punch dialoques. we have expected more from tharani, but he failed. but vijay entertained his fans. real looser is tharani and vidhyaagar music(except one song of malaysia's Yogi B hip hap music song)
i have not yet seen the picture. so i can't write my views about the film, but as i read the comments here, i can guess one thing, and that is, these comments are not only targetting vijay, but most of the commenters' aim is to target the producer ( grandson of tamilnadu CM), i think it would be the hidden agenda of the most of the commenters.
this is just my view and i am not a supporter of DMK party ! so you continue what you like to convey.
The movie could have easily cost several crores to produce. How did Karunanidhi's grand son get so much money to produce this film? There should be a CBI enquiry to probe this.

Reviews are meant to provide the pros and cons of the movie. WHen you write a review based on a fan following, I am not sure how to make of it. It would be nice if you use specific "standardization" for writing reviews. You should use the same factors when reviewing a Mani ratham film or a mass film like the one you just did...

well said... Reporters shouldn't be partial. Even I read Billa and ATM movies' reviews. They are not fit to post reviews only.
seriously this review sucks. I dont give a dime for the movie, nor do i believe that reviews should be literary masterpieces, but atleast get the grammer and phrasing right. n please dont use those comical superlatives, and adjectives before the names of the heroes.it sound stupid. a very amateur review.
If there is one actor who gets worse with every new movie it has to be Vijay. It all started with Tamizhan. Thats when he assumed "the next superstar" role. Since then only movie that worked for the best reasons was Ghillie. All other movies IMO S*c*ed.Udhaya, Vaseegara, Geetai, madurey, Thirupachi, Sachein, Sivakasi, Aathi, Pokkiri (Many wud have liked this, but this was horrible), and ATM. Larger than life hero. Songs Rocked in all movies and movie was pathetic. I thot ATM will be the worst in his career, but WAIT Kuruvi is. He will beat this w the next movie. Vijay, IMO shd stop being a super hero, Try some character roles. Most of the recent Tamil movies have been very bad. Vijay having a mass appeal, shd know this and do service to the Tamil industry rather than acting in seriously lousy n clumsy movied.
In Kuruvi, He looks Horribly lean, Dresses like a 9 and presumes to be Antonio Bandares. Plz stay away from Kuruvi. The picturesque of the songs' xcept for Thean Thean lacked class. All in ALl a TOTAL WASTE OF TIME.
