yes vijya is flop hero infront of superstar 'RAJNIKATH'. not only vijay. sharukhkhan,'Bankrupt'amitabh also. hehe..!
hi folks, please don't compare Kuruvi with Gilli.. As Gilli is remade of Telugu Movie Okkadu and it is not written by Dharani... Kuruvi is Dharani's own script. As we know Dharani's own script Bangaram was utter flop. Dhil was Good, but Dhool is totally crap.... This shows Dharani's scripts are crap...... Anyways, this movie will surely blockbuster because of producer..

Karthik.. even I've seen Mahesh baba's Athadu, Sainikudu and Adhiti.. nothing is there, only heroism, Heroism, Heroism... its totally crap to watch those movies of ur fav heroine. sorry ur fav Hero's movie.. Same style of dialogs, fighting, dancing, acting and all types of ings will be same in his movies...

After the blockbuster %u201CGhilli%u201D from Dharani-Vijay-Trisha team, I expected yet another racy entertainer, but to be frank, KURUVI crash landed. Though at times, there were glimpses of hope, weakness of story and patience testing stretchiness of the movie, works against the movie.
Plot:
There is diamond mine near Cuddapah, owned by Kocha(Suman),a goon based on malayasia, and Konda Reddy(Ashish Vidyarthi), a local MLA. Government has issued a ban on diamond mining in that place, as it can lead to earthquake. Singamuthu(Manivannan) and his mates are locked in this mine as they refuse to work against goverment order.
Now the hero Vetri Vel(Vijay) son of Singamuthu is introduced jumping out of a man hole. Then he rushes to a car race and wins first place and that too running a worn out car. As a default element of Vijay movies, next there is an introduction song praising Vijay. Vijay has shown amazing dance skills in this song. Coming back to the story, a money lender to whom Singamuthu owes 50 lakhs, asks Vel to settle the due in one week or leave the place.
Comments:
I really give credit to Vijay%u2019s screen presence, punch dialogues and dance skills. But i really felt uneasy when Vijay started jumping to reach far far places than he did in early movies.
