Even if the Khans are together and make a film called "OUR NAMES ARE KHAN" it will still be a flop. The only true hit of 2007 is WELCOME. One Kumar = Hazaar Khan.

Cut the Bull shit man. Ghajini is not remake of Memento but and an adaptation. The movie has its originality and developed keeping in mind of us. Surya gave his best shot in Ghajini. So I hope Aamir does the same too.... The Direct copies of Hollywood movies are like Sarkar which can not match Godfather..

Have u seen the movie Ghajini or Memento u moron?? I dont think so... coz u've called the film MOMENTO... it's MEMENTO u idiot... And what originality are u talkin about huh?? Every bollywood film is a copy of some tamil/telugu/malayalam/english film... so what difference does it make? blockbusters like Sholay, DDLJ, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Kaho Na Pyar hai everything is inspired... So juz shut up & watch Ghajini or go fish!

Aamir is the star of not indian cinema...he is a star of world cinema....He knows which chacracters to select and do.you don't know nothing about director murugadoss who is again a gift of tamil cinema...if its a copy of entire hollywood cinema means why not amir itself preparing the script and direct it as he is a very good director...Talents begets talents....thats why he comes all the way fro bollywood to Kollywood(chennai) to get a talent to direct him....
I think you're wierd with all crapped bloody bollywood movies...all are suking now....

Mr Maxxx, have u seen the hollywood movie or the tamil movie first of all.. Don't comment on anything of which u r not sure.. Only the character is copied, rest all are entirely different...So first go and watch the movies...
Hero has got Short term memory loss - he forgets everything every 15 minutes. Only thing he remembers is that his wife was killed and he needs to avenge her. A police officer knows this weakness & exploits him to kill of people he doesn't like. Hero kills those people but forgets that he has had his 'revenge'. So the cop can re-use him for another kill. The game backfires and one day the hero kills this cop. The whole story is told in 15 minute slots - in reverse. The scene starts with the hero doing something (which neither he or we know why he came to that position) and then we go back 15 minutes to see how he ended up in that position.
In the end it is revealed that the Hero himself had killed his wife by insulin overdose - there is nobody really to be avenged.

Tamil Ghajini Plot
Hero has short term memory loss. He forgets everything in the last 15 mins... the condition of the hero is the same. The heroine has been killed by the villain. Hero wants to avenge her and starts systematically killing the gang members of the villain.
There is some romantic sequence between the lead pair and then suddenly the heroine blows the whistle on a gang which was kidnapping girls - the villain is the leader of this gang. Villain wants to save himself and as a result kills the heroine and hits the hero on the head which leads him to his current condition.
In the second half another heroine joins the hero and helps him identify & kill the villains. A twist is included in the end where hero sees there are 2 villains and he now has to kill both.
Very clearly Ghajini is a remake of the Tamil version...nobody has made a secret of it, not even Aamir. So, why is this called "NEW" I wonder? Just type "Ghajini Surya photos" in Google and see the pictures there and you would know that this is not NEW after all..

you are right. this looks like a story stolen from "memento". I recently saw this movie and it sucks. I hope Aamir would be able to put some intensity and colours to this theme.

have u really seen the movie "memento"?...are you sure tamil version is worser than hollywood version....?....i've seen both but screenplay looks better in memento but i feel tamil ghajini will be better than the original...but i'm not sure how it'll suit for aamir

this website is the best one for ratings. This discussion seems like bullshit .. where no one has ever seen momento.. and are commenting on the picture... moreover... do it really makes a difference to an actor as an artist... where the script comes from.!!! He just had to act thats it.....
