i did watch Ghajini....thought Soorya did a great job and the normally inconsequential Asin did her part convincingly....but still find it overrated coz the vendetta angle was really stale...having said that i thought that the romance was refreshingly different....memento was far superior without a shred of doubt....i share ur views regarding the climax...the double role was totally uncalled for....as for the hindi version i am quite sceptical...i frankly don't think Aamir carries the new look all that well....hope his performance makes up for it.
off the topic...i think Paruthiveeran was a far better movie and shud be remade in Bollywood with a good 'actor'(a breed so rare!)in the lead.... may not appeal to all tho but may gain an 'Omkara' kinda success.

Memento & Ghajini are similar only regarding the hero's illness his thirst 4 revenge. rest everything is different. Obviously Memento is faaaar superior coz its a hollywood movie & more than that its a christopher nolan film... he never fails... Story in memento is told in reverse... 15 min sequences. ghajini is told like a normal indian flashback. There is no one 2 help hero in english but in ghajini there's a 2nd heroine. The Cop uses hero 2 kill people in Memento & later gets killed by hero but in ghajini cop is investigating & get killed in an accident. Memento hero kills heroine and is an anti-hero [in the indian sense] but in ghajini there is a villain [in fact 2] and hero gets revenge. Thankfully Hindi ghajini has few good things... Aamir is more experienced, Murugadoss who made original is remaking it, so he can rectify mistakes if any, Music is by A.R Rahman & there is no double act 4 villain... just 1 is there...

memento is presented in reverse chronology. and assumably it dont have that prolonged flaskback(read love) sequences. its a must watch, i'd say. Indian film industry need to grow more to make a film like that!
this movie "ghajani remake" will definitely be one of the biggest hits in 2008.. all d best amir.. we can feel that from bollywood its only u who could have played this character..as surya was magnificent in the original n whenever we watched it we always felt that if nyonw could have played it perfectly other than surya then it has to amir... n mind u guys m talking bout 2-3 yrs back wen we saw the original one.. so thnx that our wish came true :) do enjoy the movie guys...

He he.... Aamir is 43 and looks some 25... Show me another guy in bollywood who can beat him at this age...
This is not extraordinary look but not bad also.Other mind looks is not important but acting is important for to be a good film & amir khan is very good actor.
I dont know...but the only thing he does always is changing his hair style...whats the big deal??? If he can change his hair style, so can Hrithik, so can any other...whats with the 'master stroke'...i dont get it rediff people! explain it to me. Aamir is a good actor, no doubt, but rediff guys are such loosers that they start comparing master strokes with hair duos!

Go to a video library and ask for 20 random films of Johnny Depp... Watch them! Check out what that guy does with his hair in each movie... and how different he looks... and how it helps him become a character... i said Johnny Depp coz he's the 1 who does max stuff with his hairstyle... then come back & pick up 10 random films of Aamir... See what Aamir does... Then u'll understand what's "becoming" a character is!
P.S -Pls remember to close ur mouth while watching those films as u might tend to open ur mouth wide in astonishment!

just check all his films n his hairstyle in respective films..u will knw why..he goes in depth of the character n yes haristyle does has an edge.. i think u dont knw bout films n characterisation..so plz shut up :)
